"Niall run! Babe!" A boy with chocolate brown eyes howled out as he pulled my hand, running away from whatever he was running from. "Why are we running?" I asked frantically as I tried to catch up to his running pace. "The gorilla howlers were released! Run babe, I don't want to lose you!" He screamed as his pace started to become quicker. "Babe?" I questioned under my breath.
Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. "Five kills!" He yelled as we stopped and pulled me onto his back. He quickly motioned out his hands and started climbing up the rigid tree, holding onto me close and tightly. "Aurgu!" The mutation growled as it started climbing up the tree. "Babe climb faster." I cried out as I could feel myself frantically trying to catch my breath, my heart pounding with fear. He quickened his pace until suddenly I felt something tug at my foot, causing me to fall heavily to the ground with the evil beast. I saw it clearly now. It was black and white with saber tooth like fangs. "Help! Liam!" I yelled out as I could feel the animal digging into my flesh. Boom.
"Niall, buddy. Wake up." A voice whispered into my ear as my body was softly and steadily swayed back and forth. Suddenly I felt the place get darker and the thing I had just experienced was just a simple movie that was steadily vanishing from my sight. My body softly reacted to the person's swaying causing my eyes to pierced through my eye lids. "It happened again. A dream. But this time it was different." I softly spoke. "Liam? who's he?" Greg questioned. "What do you mean?" I asked confused. "You were screaming his name, Nialler." Greg said with a soft chuckle. "Honestly I don't know Greg. I remember him pulling me away from some mutation that was chasing us." I softly said as I looked at his greenish, blueish eyes.
"Wake up now tributes. We are close to the Capitol now and I want you all to be ready to wave out the window. You know, the more attention you get the more lucky you are of getting a sponsor! Oh what a delight!" She boomed out as her high heels made a clanking sound against the floor as she walked away.
Greg and I groaned with tiredness before getting up and changing back into our pants that were scattered on the floor. I slowly buckled the button and zipped up the zipper before exiting the room with Greg on my tail. I walked up to a window and Greg sat beside me, sitting at the window that was right beside me. Minutes after we came out the girls came out of their room with a groggy motion as they swayed back and forth, trying not to fall and collapse. "You guys seem tired." Greg smirked as he glanced at them. "Tell me about it." Beth blurted out.
"Oh dear! Hurry, hurry! Sit down close to a window and get ready to smile! We're approaching the Capitol!" Julia said with a high pitched voice as her high heels clanged with every step she took. She quickly motioned the girls to a window on the opposite side of where Greg and I were sitting at. "Now remember smile! Appeal yourselves to the audience!"
In less then a minute I spotted buildings. Marvelous buildings. Finely built with the sun shimmering against the frail glass. Slowly we approached land and we were greeted by a bunch of screaming and cheering people. "Smile and wave now!" Julia said sternly with a plastered smile on her face as she stood next to a window and greeted people. We all did as she ordered and we simply smiled followed by a soft wave towards the people. "There you go Beth! Show them that you're proud!" Julia yelled out as I noticed Beth getting more attention then the rest of us. It really didn't bother me as I continued to smile and wave.
In about 2 minutes we reached our first stop and Julia told us to get off. "Now we must first get you scrubbed off. This is the Remake Center. Here they will take care of cleaning you up. I'll meet you back here when you're done." Julia said as she motioned us to step off. We all slowly walked out of the train, me being the last one. We all walked into the Remake Center and instantly I noticed other Tributes from the other Districts.
"What district?" A pale faced man said as he stood in front of the door. "District 11." Beth replied back. "Follow me please." The man said before motioning us to follow him. We all slowly followed him in a steady line as if we were pre-schoolers. I glanced here and there, taking a look at the surroundings. They had many fancy belongings here, well at least fancier than what we have back home. We continued walking and in an instant my heart stopped. The guy from my dreams. He was standing with 3 other people. No, this must be crazy. I
