Ellen's POV:
***
"I can't believe how rude you were!" Indigo said as we walked into my apartment.
"Me?" I said.
"Well he certainly wasn't rude, was he?"
"Well maybe not today, but have you seen him otherwise?"
"No." Indigo said, perplexed. I sit on the couch and sigh audibly.
"I will not got out with him. End of story."
"You are so mean." Indigo said.
"What will make you feel better?"
"I dare you to say yes if he asks you out again. Just on one date. You don't have to go on another, but just try one! You'll never know."
"Sure." I said, sipping my water.
"Wow, that was easy." Indigo said.
"Well I'm confident because after being turned down like that once do you really think he'll ask again?"
"Yes. And you'll go on a date, realize you like him, fall madly in love, marry each other and have little Damons and Ellens!"
"No, Indigo. That won't happen."
"Just you wait. I'm positive it will."
"Want to bet money?" I ask. "Everyone mile stone I owe you twenty. When I turn twenty-five if nothing happens you owe me fifty."
"Sure." She said. I thought she'd forget it anyway, it was just for fun. I didn't need fifty dollars from her.
"Elsa owe's us a lot of money. Apparently things have been going good for her, with reconnecting with Girard and all."
"I know, I kind of can't believe it. After all these years..."
"Yea..."
"Soon you and Damon will hitting it off like them."
"You wish."
_____Kassidy's POV:
***
I invited Caleb over ten minutes ago and he was already at the door. I open it up to see him in his usual clothes. He smiles.
"Hey!" He says happily. He leans in and kisses my forehead, jolts of joy pulsing through my body.
"Come in!" I say. He steps in and closes the door behind himself.
Gia was quickly down the stairs and in front of us.
"Hello." She said, walking over. She held her hand out. "I'm Gia, Kassidy's twin sister."
Caleb shook her hand.
"Hello, I am Caleb."
"I know. I've heard all about you, non-stop. She won't shut up about you."
I slapped her wrist so hard she flinched.
"My brother would say the same thing about Kassidy. I call him all the time bragging about how lucky I am to have such a beautiful, kind and compassionate girlfriend. Don't be embarrassed." He said, looking to me. I smiled back.
Gia then spoke again. "I'd be excited if I were you. Kassidy made dinner. Did you know she goes to culinary school?"
"I wondered why it smelt so good in here. Yes I did know that."
I smiled inwardly. "Thank you. I made homemade mac and cheese."
"That's one of my favorites!" He says, quickly walking over to the dinning room table where everything was already set.
I walked over, and he politely pulled my chair out for me. I smiled, and sat down. He walked around the table and sat across from me.
Gia smiled and sat at the end looking from him to me, to him, to me. I gave her the signal with my eyes to stop and she did after a second warning.
---
When dinner was finished, Gia offered to clean up. The first nice thing she did all night. Caleb and I walked over to the couch and sat down next to each other. After a couple of minutes he reached for my hand and held it there a while. I was tired, it was been a long day of classes. I started to earn into him several times but picked myself up again. After a while he noticed this.
"It's okay, you can rest on me." He said, propping up against the couch. I slowly did so, resting my head on his chest. I could hear his heart beating slowly and comfortably as I lay there.
All was peaceful. Gia had went up to her room and the only sound heard was the dripping of the sink and Caleb's heart.
As we sat in the silence I realized I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I didn't want this moment to end. The last thing I saw were two birds flying together outside from my window before we both drifted off to sleep.
_____Dakota's POV:
***
Rehearsal was done, and it was around nine o'clock. I hadn't gotten any studying done and I had a Music History test tomorrow. I needed coffee. I picked up my bag and put my sweatshirt on, since it was finally getting chilly and dark outside, and stated to head out.
"Dakota!" I heard behind me, only seconds after leaving. I turned around to see Blaine walking towards me fast. I smile, stop and wait for him to catch up. "We're are you going?" He asks as soon as he reaches me.
"I'm going to get coffee and study. We have that test tomorrow."
"Can I join?" He asks, hopefully.
"Sure, why not. Luckily I studied yesterday and the day before I should be good. With one more session."
"Same." He said as we exited the studio building.
The chilly, night wind calmed my fears of being with Blaine.
---
We reached a small coffee shop a little off campus called Winter Cafe. We quickly got our coffee and sat down to study.
"This show is coming together nicely." He said, smiling.
"I am excited for the show weekend! It always makes me happy no matter how stressful all the work leading up to it."
"Yea. Remember when we were in Jesus Christ Super Star, and everyone was sick during tech?"
"Yes I remember, and I freaked out because I had a good part and that barely happened and I didn't want to be sick for the performance."
""But then the show was great!" He said, smiling.
"Yea, it was." I smiled too, meeting his gaze. His blue eyes were filled with delight, and so was my heart.
_____Elsa's POV:
***
Class ended and Girard and I walked together to the bench we always study at together.
"Wow yesterday was amazing." He said, looking to me. I was caught off guard to hear that so suddenly, but it made me happy.
"Yea, it was." I said, as he pressed closer to my side.
We sat down and started to silently study, but though it was silent we were both happy to be in each other's presence which was all we needed.
The birds around us chirped and the quick strokes of both of our pencils were audible if you paid attention to your surroundings.
He stopped and looked at me and I stopped and looked at him, and we both smiled.
"So, do you want to go on another date tonight?"
"Sure, were?"
"To dinner. We could get Italian food at that place off campus."
"Sure my I love Italian."
"So do I. It'll be nice to spend time with you again."
I smiled. "It'll be nice to spend I me with you too."
