Why do You Care About Who I Put My Mouth on?

So there has been a lot of talk about sexuality in the news recently. Some of it is good, but a lot of it is bad. But before I talk about sexuality, I want to say that my heart goes out to everyone who was involved in the Orlando shooting. I started to cry when I found out. What that man did was horrible. And I really do hope that America will take this as a sign that we need to change our ways and protect the people that are vulnerable.

I am bisexual.

I have known since 6th grade. I've had girlfriends, I've had boyfriends and I just want to give one piece of advice to the people that have a problem with that. I don't give a flying fuck. Not one diddly damn about your dumbass opinion. And I refuse to respect your opinion because your opinion is the reason why so many people in the LGBTQA+ community feel scared to come out.

I am out to some people. I'm out to my mother and to some of my friends, and my little sister. But everyone else, I don't feel comfortable enough yet. And let me tell you something, coming out takes a lot of courage. And I will never stop coming out to people for as long as I live. I will never stop getting strange looks when I hold a girls hand in public.

So to everyone that is apart of the LGBTQA+ community I just want to say this, you are valid in what you feel. And if you think no one loves you, I love you. I love you and you are valid. You are cherished. If you ever need someone to talk to, I will always be here for you.

I know how it feels to feel that you can't talk to anyone about what you are feeling. But you are wrong. You can always talk to me. No one should have to go through this alone.

Be safe out there,
Mchanel
