I walked through school, deep in thought. A few friends tried to talk to me, but I barely heard them. I stared out the window as my last class dragged on. The voice of the teacher was a faint buzz on my ears until suddenly I felt the sting of a ruler hitting my hand. "Ow...!" I winced and looked up.

My teacher stood frowning down at me. "You've been ignoring my entire lesson. At least keep yourself focused for the last ten minutes of class."

I glanced at the other kids and rolled my eyes as they snickered at me, turning back to the window and resting my chin in my hand. The last 'ten minutes' felt like the last 'hour', but I got through and quickly headed for my locker as soon as the bell rang.

As I collected my things I felt eyes on my back. I glanced back, before quickly lowering my eyes as Brandon passed me with a small smile. I took a deep breath and slung my backpack over my shoulder, pursing my lips. I wanted so bad to beat his ass all the way into the next week.

I walked towards the front doors with determination. Jake was talking to someone by the gate as I walked up. I gave him an urgent look. He said he had to go and hurried to catch up to me. "So, we still on for today?"

I'd have snapped at him for making it sound like we were going on a date, but I was too angry to care at the moment. "Can we get him fucking arrested...?" I growled.

"Wow. Did he do something else?" He asked, obviously catching on that I was pissed.

"He woke up. He breathed. He was born. Should I continue?" I asked.

Jake frowned, but didn't reply to my furious comments. Instead he said, "I was thinking you could ask Bobby to hang out and then I could pull him aside and tell him everything. Besides Brandon possibly tagging along, what do you think?"

I wanted to ask if we could bring a gun to shoot the bastard, but I kept my cool. Getting angry would blind me. I had to remain calm. "Yeah, that sounds good."

Jake nodded. "I heard Bobby's headed to the park. You should catch up to him. I'll head over to the arcade and if anything happens call me."

I agreeded and we parted ways. I headed straight for the park. Nothing was standing in my way now. I was out for blood and I could practically taste it already. Brandon had best pray for his life because I was determined to make this the most painful revenge I could.

When the park came into view I scanned the area for Bobby. I frowned when I didn't see him. Where was he? I thought he'd have reached the park before me. As I got closer I heard voices by the nearby trees. I leaned to see around a tree trunk.

"You're such a goofball." Bobby said. "I can't believe you tripped over that log right into the mud."

I narrowed my eyes at the scene before me. Bobby and Brandon sat with their backs to me, Brandon covered in a layer of dirt and mud. Bobby was behind him, ruffling his hair to try and get the dirt out. "Be more careful. I can't save you every time." He said.

Brandon turned his head so he could see Bobby's face and kissed his nose. "Of course not. That's my job." He murmured.

As I saw him leaning forward, I cleared my throat. "I hope I'm not intruding." I said loudly.

They both turned to me in surprise. I smiled at Bobby. "Sorry to interrupt." I said. "I was just looking for you."

Brandon looked at me with an expression I couldn't identify, but I chose to ignore him entirely. As Bobby stood up he hurried up to me with a smile. "It's cool. What's up?"

"I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out. We haven't really spent time together in a while. Want to go to the arcade or something?" I asked.
