I've been spotted!!!  Ashley Marie, a girl in my history class saw me leaving McKenzie's office. She confronted me in front of all of my friends and asked if I was okay.

I laughed it off. " I'm totally fine. It's just one of those things that my mom is forcing me to do. You know how parents are. "

Everyone laughed or nodded in agreement but Ashely Marie had a weird look on her face and I couldn't tell if she believed me or not.

She probably didn't because later that day she pulled me aside and handed my a slip of paper.

"My number. " She told me. " Call me when you need to talk to a true friend. "

I didn't know what to say, luckily she didn't give me time much time to speak She just smiled brightly and walked away. I don't know why she thought that I needed a true friend. I have lots of friends.

I then saw her talking to Hayden. At first I thought she was flirting with him because girls do that all the time but there wasn't hair twirling and giggling. They looked like they were having a serious conversation. I began to fear that they were talking about me but why would they be talking about me. I mustered up some scraps of courage and walked up to them.

"Hey guys, what's going on? " I asked brightly.

Ashely Marie turned to me with a bright smile of her own. " Hey Talia, I was just asking your brother an important question. Don't forget what I said ok? I really meant it. "

I just nodded and she gave me a quick hug before walking off. Why was she hugging me?

"What was that all about?" I asked Hayden. " I thought you said that you were done with juniors."

"It's not like that T, just get in the car, don't worry about it. " He said as he opened the car soor for me.

They were talking about me. I know they were.

Bye for Now

Talia
