Chapter 2: One Friend

Pearl P.O.V

I walk into my first class. Math. The class where the teacher don't give two shits if you talk.

I sit down next to a bluenette.

"Hey!" She greets all happy.

"Hey hi." I say back.

"Wait. Pearl!?" She exclaims.

"Um yes?"

"Pearl! Its me. Lapis Lazuli."

"LAPIS!!" I lung at the girl.

"Hey!! I haven't seen you in 6 years! How have you been?"

"Good! My mom and sister go here so that'll be a big hoot. Do you know anyone else here!?"

"Yeah I know ga-"

The teacher interrupts all of us.

"OK let's begin."

-after class-

"So Pearl what's your next class?" Lapis asks.

"Geography. And my mom teaches that class."

"Hey I have that too!" I grin happily.

"Yes let's go! If we go early since class starts in 5 min. We can talk to my mom." I grab lapis and run to my moms class.

I knock. "Mom?"

"Pearl!! Come give your mommy a hug!" I run and hug her. Lapis behind me smirking.

"What are you guys doing 5 minutes early?"

"Well Pearl wanted to see her beloved mom so I tagged along."

Mom smiles at her. "And where's Rainbow Lapis?"

"Hanging with the Jocks again."

Her and Lapis sigh.

"What's wrong with Rainbow hanging with The jocks?" I ask.

"Pearl. They are just jerks. Like sugilite and Jasper!"

"Well I can't really agree with you guys cause I'm a teacher."

"Oh. Well tonight, can me and lapis see the football game?" I ask her.

"I'm not in charge of you in collage. Go have fun. And in midnight call me."

"OK!!!"

-at night to the football game-

I wore a black shirt and dark blue jeans while Lapis wore a blue tie on dress.

We sat in the bleachers and watched the game.

It was 15-7. We were winning.

"WOO GO LIONS!" Lapis yells.

"Hey guys." We turn and see Peridot.

"Peri!!" I yell and tug the poor boy to a hug.

"Um hi pearl. Long time no see."

He sits down next to us and drinks a soda.

Lapis was watching him then looks back at the game.

We won. The end of forth quarter.

"Yes!" Lapis yells.

We walk down and see all the jocks waving but one paticuler jock caught my look.

He walked over to me.

"Pearl?" He ask. He has a faint British accent and some reason he knew me.

"Yes?"

He takes off the helmet and I stare at him.

"Its me. Garnet."

"GARNET!" I lung at him and tell him I missed him.

"I missed you too. How have you been?"

"GOOD!! OH MY STARS I HAVENT SEEN YOU IN SOO LONG!"

"I haven't seen you either. Are you going to the party for our win later?"

"Yeah why?"

He blushes and looks away.

"Um well...You see uh...I haven't seen you in awhile so I was thinking we should catch up." He says scratching the back of his neck.

"That sonds lovely."

"Great! Its a date bye!" He runs off.

"Pearl!" Two people yell to me.

Rainbow and Lapis look at me in shock.

"What?" I ask.

"You were just talking to Garnet! Don't what me! You got a date with one of the hottest Guys in our school!"

"Hottest?"

"Omg yes. He has all types of girls on him. Even Malachite gets all the ladies."

"Wow I'll see him later then!" I yell.

I'm at the airport!
