Pearl P.O.V

After we got back from our boring trip to the dome, me and Garnet decided to visit Greg and Steven.

Garnet knocks on the door. In a second, Steven opens it and he gasps happily.

"Garnet! Pearl!!" He hugs me and then Steven.

"Hey buddy!"

"Heh! DAD! Garnet and Pearl are here!!" He grabs my hand and pushes me into his room.

Greg walks out and smiles.

"Hey you two? Wassup?"

Garnet shrugs.

"We just wanted to see a good guy." Greg laughs.

"Oh ok. Pearl, is your mom doing ok?"

I look up at the sound of my name.

"Oh. Um yes she is." I smile.

He smiles back and looks at his phone. His eyes then widen.

"Oh my god! Garnet can you watch Steven for a moment!?"

"Oh yeah sure." Greg thanks him and runs out.

Steven squeals happily and tugs me to the bed.

"Oh we can watch Crying Breakfast Friends!"

"O-oh." He turns the TV on and Garnet quietly chuckles.

I glare at him and he shuts up.

During the show, the foods are crying and the TV turns off, then the power.

Steven clings to my arm, holding onto dear life.

He whimpers.

"Afraid of the dark?" I ask, removing his nails From my arm and hugging him.

"Y-yes." He whimper.

Garnet walks into the room and checks around.

"Power Outage. The owner said it'll be back on in a couple hours."

Steven gets up and hugs Garnet, crying on his shoulder.

"I really don't like the dark." He cries.

I feel bad but he's 14! But at the same time, I was afraid of clowns until I turned 17.

"Let's get out and go do something. Get your mind off of the dark. Let's go get ice cream." Garnet picks up Steven and puts him around his neck.

"Alright! Let's go!"

-at an Ice cream shop-

Garnet buys us ice cream and we sit down, talking.

I texted Greg and he said it was fine.

We ate our ice cream and were laughing at the dumb/weird jokes Garnet gave us.

I take my phone out, putting it in Selfie mode.

I raise my phone and take a picture with Steven and Garnet.

We all smile and I put my phone and ice cream away.

We head back to the motels and see Greg already there.

"Hey Greg, here's your kidnapped son." Garnet jokes.

"Well thank you."

Garnet nods. I take my phone out and show him the picture.

He laughs and ruffles Stevens hair.

Steven hugs me.

"Thanks!" He says.

"Your welcome." We leave the motel room and go to ours.

When we entered the room, I flopped down on our bed.

"Tired?" Garnet asks while laying down next to me.

"Yes! I want to go to bed." He laughs and puts his arm around me.

"Good night." I him in return.

-morning-

"Wake up!" I open my eyes to see Garnet over me.

"Um hi." Personal Space.

"Hi. Its time to go." I get up and pack my shit.

"Alright I'm ready to go!" I say as I put my shirt back into my bag.

"OK then. Let's go." I grab my bag and put it over my shoulder walking out of the motel room and walking to the bus, already to seeing Garnet on the bus looking at his phone.

I shake my head and sit next to him.

"We are heading back! Woo!" Garnet says putting his earpuds in.

I put mine too and listen to some music.

It's relevent now to whee we are going.

We finally make it back to The University and get off the bus.

Me and Garnet walk to our dorms, saying bye to each other and entering our dorms.

"Pearl! How'd you get here first?" Rainbow asks walking into the dorm 6 minutes later.

"I'm too fast."
