(Ricky's pov)

I walked out of Eric's house after giving him a goodbye kiss. I got into my car and started it up. I pulled out of their driveway and started driving to my house. Once there I turned off my car and got out. I walked into my house and saw my family sitting on the couch. "Hey, Ricky, was Eric okay?" Cam asked.

"No, but he's okay now," I said. I didn't want to tell them what happened because I knew Eric wouldn't want anyone to know.

"That's good, you ready for school tomorrow?" Mom asked.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I asked.

"Just wanted make sure you aren't behind on your homework or anything," Mom said and I rolled my eyes.

"Mom, it's not like I ditched my homework just to talk to Eric or something. I'm not like Cam."

"Hey! Wait. . .never mind, you got a point," Cam said and I laughed.

My parents rolled their eyes and Mom said, "Yeah, and that's why you got in on a sports scholarship."

"Hey, I can be smart," Cam argued.

"But you don't try," I said.

"Whatever, I'll get a high score on the next exam and prove you all wrong," Cam said and our parents smiled.

"You do that," they said and I laughed.

"So, I'm going to go upstairs. Call me down for dinner," I said and walked up to my room. I got out my laptop and sat on my bed. I started browsing the web for awhile until my Mom called me down for dinner. I ate my dinner and then walked back up to my room to get ready for bed. We had a late dinner since they were waiting for me to get home. I went to my dresser and got out an old white t-shirt and some black pajama pants. I walked into my bathroom to shower and brush my teeth. After I was done I put my clothes on and got into bed. I turned my lamp off and fell asleep.

I woke up to my alarm clock going off. I slammed my hand down and yawned. I got out of bed and cracked my back. I put on a blue tank top, faded blue jeans, a black jacket, and my converses. I grabbed my bookbag and walked downstairs. I saw Cam at the kitchen island studying. "Woah, what? You're studying?" I asked.

He rolled his eyes and said, "Yes, I said I was going to get a high score on this next exam." I nodded and laughed.

"I'm leaving now, good luck," I said and walked out to my car. I started driving to school. Once there, I grabbed my bag and walked into the school and to my locker. I saw my friends standing there and smiled. I walked over and Damian smiled at me.

"Hey, man, how was your weekend?" he asked.

"Great, I hung out with Eric," I said and Calvin laughed.

"I still can't believe you got him to date you," Calvin said.

"Honestly, neither can I."

"So, there's a party tonight," Damian said. I got my stuff out of my locker and looked at him confused.

"A party? On a Monday?" I asked.

"Yeah, Joe's parents are going on a business trip tonight," Calvin said.

I nodded and said, "Are you guys going?"

"Yep, you should ask Eric and see if he wants to go," Damian said.

"I think I will. I have to go find Eric, I'll see you guys later." They nodded and I walked to Eric's Locker where he was getting his books out. "Hey, Eric," I said and he turned around.

"Hey, Ricky," he said and hugged me.

"How are you? Are you feeling okay?" I asked.

"Yes. I still have some bad thoughts but I'm fine," he said and I smiled.
