The dark clouds replaced the sun as it starts to sleep. Grey over orange, we have to return. Not just is it going to rain soon, but we saw them heading to the barn, where Uncle Ben and Henry works for the research. The walking black mists covered the golden fields. We sneaked and hid close as we follow their footsteps. We kept on hiding in the bushes with the topsy-turvy branches of the trees that distracted us.

Fort kept on pushing and breaking the branches as we head to the barn. While I tried my best not to be seen for me being ridiculously obvious in plain sight. We kept walking while I saw the view of the Shadows slowly approaching the barn. They seem really quiet approaching the barn. They hold no weapons in their hands. I slowed down my walking and started to observe them.

They walk at a slow calm pace. Like what everyone does. I started to pause for a moment and space my eyes on the way they walk. Fort stopped walking and looked behind. He started to be irritatedly anxious.

"Hey mate wake up."

I kept staring at the shadows and walking to the barn.

"You're getting yourself killed! Wake up!"

The shadows paused and looked at the bushes. I snapped my head up and watched the shadows walking towards us. Great.

They started to walk toward us. Fort dragged my head down with his hand. We ducked down and sneaked away briskly. Fort started to become really disappointed.

"Are you trying to kill yourself? Mate, you're getting really crazy when you did that. I mean Jesus Crikey Christ what the hell are you thinking?"

I kept silent for a while as I reflected on my stupidity. What have I done?

We kept hiding away from the shadows in the prickly-branched forest. We kept on shoving the branches away to give us a better chance of running. The sun has finally slept and the rain started to cry. The ground gets even thicker and even more consistent as we ran through the forest while the rain kept crying. We are almost to the barn when Fort looked behind me. He was astonished by what he had seen.

"NAILA, KEEP RUNNING."

I looked behind and the shadows followed us.

"But how did they still follow us?" I asked

"But how did they still follow us?" I asked

"Why won't you look at your hair sea lantern."

You have to be kidding me.

Lightning stroked our eyes and the shadows still kept on following us. We kept on running until we made it to the barn. The light was dim but good enough for us to our safety. Fort slammed open the huge doors with his arms. Uncle Ben and Henry seem to be surprised but not scared. Fort ran forward to their faces. The hay stuck to the boots of Fort like mud. Leaving trails. I looked behind then I saw the shadows still walking toward us. I started to hurriedly close the two big red doors. My strength is only migraine but I still closed the door just in time.
