It is a breezy cold night in the middle of November. Snowflakes slowly falling down like paper. Not even the heat in the fireplace can beat the harsh cold wind that gave me frostbites. Owls hooting in the distance and bats fluttering in groups. The weather is harsh but the community is peaceful in this winter night. Everyone slept very soundly like there's no tomorrow.

I tucked myself underneath three layers of blankets just to keep me warm. I tried every single posture I could ever have for me to sleep. Blankets wrapped me like burrito as I rolled around to sleep in a good posture. I finally stopped at the edge of the bed. Sweating with tiredness and chilling with shivers. A perfect body temperature for me. I yawned and slowly closed my eyes. I started to sleep soundly

Until a sound was made that awakened the whole community. A loud thud.

"AH FOR FUCKS SAKE!" I ranted to the tip of my rusty throat.

The heads approached to my room in a rush to await for orders from me. The guards and other militant officers are on the move. Naila joined the heads and started to get involved in this incident. They all stared waiting for my signal while I'm just here. Sitting on the bed with hazy eyes. Not having a single plan for this commotion.

"What do we do now?" Asked Vindict.

They all raised their hopes on my answer.

"Well I know is,"

"What?" Everyone asked.

"You give me a nice cup of coffee or give me 10 to 15 minutes of sleep. Other than that, you should handle this situation yourselves for a while."

I laid myself on the bed for a moment and everyone started ranting at me. But Naila, she's reached her nerves to the point that I need to laugh and be ashamed of.

"WHAT KIND OF A LEADER ARE YOU?" As she unrolled me and grabbed my pillow to smack me with.

I spoke lazily, "I came back from the loop mate. I ate nothing today because I was at the city learning the whole da-"

Naila's eyes glowed and started to lift me off the ground. She used her mystic powers to bring me to her. Affecting the gravity of the room like a ghost suddenly changed it.

"I don't care if you're tired leader. You're the responsible one around here and you should do your duty. I don't care if I'm not even close to your feet of leadership but I have a responsibility as a Medium to ensure that everybody is safe. If I'm playing this role, you should join me as well."

She calmed herself down. Dropping me and the rest of the things at my room. I stood up and dusted the dirt away of my robe. The heads tried to be conscious even after floating a foot away of the floor.

"Okay, let's get to work then kids. Vindict, prepare the scouts and spies on eavesdrop. Expect the worst that can happen afterwards. Ignus and Skota, protect the the residential wights and hollows. Bring on the defending ones on front. Diane, Maya and Oli-"

She suddenly doesn't appear on my sight.

"Where is she? This is a bad time!"

"She told us that she will buy food." Diane replied.

"Well Maya will stay with me. You Diane will retrieve her with a guard on her side."
"Yes ma'am." And she ran off.

I looked back at the immobile heads. "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? MOVE IT!"
And they started to run off as well.

"Joshua," I summoned with a stressed voice.

He appeared in from the corner of the shadowy room. "Yes master?"
