A week has passed since Derek was turned back to normal. Every now and again Brianna would question her decision on not going back to the council. The thought of Kate being back and on the loose terrified her. She couldn't help but think back to Lydia's loony party in which she had a hallucination of Kate killing Derek and Stiles.

But Brianna was determined to stick by Derek's side until she was caught. Which is why Braeden had arrived at the loft. Brianna was sat in the middle of Derek and Peter which happened to be directly opposite Braeden. Also known as the girl who was resting her legs on Brianna's table.

"That table's Italian." Peter pointed out.

"So are these boots."

Peter turned to Brianna, "I'm going to let you handle this."

"Well," Brianna mused, leaning forward with her arms crossed. She inspected the boots before raising an eyebrow at Braeden. "I appreciate a good pair of boots. Continue."

The girl gave Brianna a smug smile as if to torment Peter, "Are we going to talk numbers?" Braeden asked Peter and Derek.

While Peter wrote some numbers on a card, Brianna glanced at Derek. With a sour face he was staring at his eyes in the mirror of some sunglasses. Wait, they're my sunglasses. I hope he realises I'm going to want those back. Even though he stole her sunglasses, Brianna couldn't help but feel sorry for him. Loosing the colour of his eyes must suck, it would be like loosing a part of yourself.

A sarcastic and small laugh from Braeden made Brianna turn back to the negotiation. Brianna couldn't help but widen her eyes when she saw Braeden cross our Peter's offer and write a larger number. It was clear Peter wasn't that happy about it either. "We're hiring you to find Kate, not assassinate the President." He mused.

"I was hired by the Calaveras to find Kate." Braeden reminded. "You're hiring me to find her first. Going against the Calaveras is what's going to cost you."

Groaning eternally, Peter wrote another number on the card. That time Braeden didn't even bother looking at it before pushing it back to the trio. In exasperation Peter stood up and began to walk away from the table. In hindsight, if he didn't want his money to fly away, he probably shouldn't have left the negotiation to Derek.

Why, you may ask?

"We'll pay. Just find Kate, that's all we want."

That's why.

Awkwardly, Brianna bit the inside of her lip as she continued to sit on the sofa. Derek had gone to lean himself on the desk while Peter closed the loft door after Braeden. The reason Brianna decided to sit relatively far away is because she knew full well there would be a yelling match between the uncle and nephew duo.

In three ... two ... one ...

"Are you insane?!" Peter yelled.

"We don't have a choice." Derek stated somewhat calmly. "We spent a week looking for her and came up with nothing."

"If we don't find out, who told Kate about the vault, we don't get those bonds back! What do you think I'm gonna do then, huh? Get a job? My resume is slightly out of date. We got robbed, Derek. Robbed!" Peter reminded, getting closer to Derek with every word.

That was a bad idea. As soon as Peter was close enough, Derek spun around and grabbed his hand. While he did so he bared his fangs and showed Peter his new eye colour. Every time Brianna saw the yellow instead of blue eyes she couldn't help but feel as if it wasn't Derek. She couldn't remember the last time she saw Derek's werewolf eyes yellow. It would've been over ten years ago.
