"Are all of you like Lydia? Are you all psychic?"
Brianna could hear all of her friends thoughts now. She was a hundred percent sure they all thought she was going to kick Parrish's ass into next week for saying the 'P' word. It had been given a nickname because people were that scared of using the word psychic around Brianna. But it's not her fault that the world really ... grinds her gears.
"Psychic?" Brianna coughed out a laugh. Even though everybody - or more specifically Scott, Derek and Lydia - seemed relieved that was her response Lydia gave her a warning look. Rude, I played things safe for him.
"Yeah, not exactly," Scott replied to the question that remained unanswered despite Brianna's laughter. Surely that would've given him a clear answer about that fact none of them are psychic but it didn't.
The story about Parrish is he literally got burned alive. But obviously he didn't die because he was standing right in front of Lydia, Brianna, Scott and Derek. The whole reason he is standing in front of them is what they're trying to find out. But it's a bit out of Brianna and Derek's league to do so.
"Okay, then," Parrish paused for a moment. "Then what are you?"
The four shared looks in a mental debate wether to tell him or not. Brianna's vote was to tell him, after all he was one of them. Maybe the pack could help him. That's what they did after all. The debate was a short one since most of them was okay with him finding out. Scott lifted his head up to show his piercing red alpha eyes and that's how Parrish found out about all of the crazy shit that happens in Beacon Hills.
Noticing Parrish was extremely close to fainting, Brianna gently began to lead him towards the sofa. Lydia checked him over before giving everybody the nod of approval. So they began to explain everything. From what kind of hybrid Brianna was to what the alpha pack was. In all honesty, Parrish seemed to take everything surprisingly well. Though, when you live in Beacon Hills, the supernatural existing isn't the strangest thing that could happen.
"What's a Kanima?" Parrish questioned as a recap.
A sigh escaped Brianna's lips. It fathomed her how every person the pack explained the supernatural world to got confused about the Kanima. Personally, she thought it was one of the easiest to understand especially when it's competing against a Darach. And a Nogitsune. And the different types of Kitsune's that Brianna still hadn't figured out. She literally knew Thunder Kitsune but that was because of Kira.
"We'll get back to that." Scott said as he sat on the arm of the sofa Parrish was sat on. "Just know that everyone like us, everyone with some kind of supernatural ability is on the dead pool."
"But I don't even know what I am."
"I'm pretty sure they don't care." The sour wolf mused earning a 'shut up' look from both Brianna and Lydia. There was a lot of them going around that night.
"How many professional assassins are we talking about?" Parrish questioned.
"We're starting to lose count." Lydia replied and you could hear the fear in her voice.
Brianna who was looking down at the floor - mostly worried about sheriff Stilinski who had been shot during the fiasco at the sheriffs station - before propping her head up and glancing around the room. She had just pieced something together. The deputy who tried to kill Parrish wasn't exactly a professional killer but he somehow got a hold of the list. Maybe that meant they had more people coming to kill them than they originally did. Wether or not it was true it was a thought worth mentioning.
"But are we really just dealing with professionals anymore? The deputy who tried to torch Parrish wasn't a killer, he was a deputy. Who knows how he got a hold of a copy of the dead pool but however he did that could mean other people know how to get it as well."
