Diary of an Insomniac [Collection of Poems]

I decided the introduction,

Should be made with proper conduction.

As this is a book of poetry,

Why not start with a pleasantry?

I go by Abi, I'm still quite young,

And as for poetry, it can be fun,

This will be my place to vent,

Like a literary apartment out for rent,

But the only cost is a personal one-

Because I know for a fact that when this is done,

I'll glance back through, re-feel every emotion,

Tossed onto the pages like waves on an ocean,

I'll face-palm, laugh, sigh, maybe cry,

But I'd love to share these feelings with you- and that's what here I'll try.
