Walking out of the club, Kai followed Krystal. Behind her but not too close. He knew something wasn't right when she run out. About to step out through the backdoor. He witnessed Krystal fighting against two men. Kai was about to intervene when he saw her gain strength. Once the men were left on the ground groaning in pain. They hurried to find Krystal as she disappeared into a narrow alleyway.
Kai slowly followed the men so they wouldn't catch his presence. Running down the same path, he hear a screeching noise that suddenly made his heart drop. Pushing away his thoughts of being caught by the same men chasing Krystal. He ran harder until he reached the end of the alleyway. He was too late as he witnessed Krystal laying in street losing her grid on reality.
He wanted nothing more to beat the crap out of those bastards. Before he could try to save the one person that he wanted no pain to come to. The masked men picked her up taking her to a white worn out van with a license plate number, he memorized.
Kai knew this white van and it wasn't anything good. He dug his nails into his tight fists. Almost to the point that they could bleed.
"I should've told you sooner" He muttered to himself.
Krystal.
Darkness. Coldness. I don't have many fears but those two things. All my life I have be surrounded by warmth, people that care. Now in this instance I have neither. I was alone in this battle between giving up and fighting for my life. I tired to fight the first time, it wasn't good enough. I was stuck in an unknown place tied up by my wrists and ankles in a metal chair. Awaiting for what might happen next.
I felt like I was losing myself already. I didn't know this me. One that was frail. I despised the idea of being a princess wanting for someone to save her like freaking Cinderella. It wasn't me, I don't want to be that...no matter what.
Taking slow breaths on this cold night in Seoul. If I was still in Seoul.
Hearing footsteps approach every muscle in my body tensed up, my senses heightened. The bag was roughly removed from my head. The light in the room was so blinding that I had to wait for my eyes to adjust. Once they did I noticed someone sitting right in front of me.
A man in the same state as mine, maybe even worse. He had blood strains on his white shirt. His black hair was tousled everywhere like he had been tossed around. His eyes were casted down upon the ground until they shifted to meet mine. I was taken aback at how eyes held fear in them. For the first time I saw a man genuinely scared and I was at a loss of words.
"W-what are you h-here for?" The man's voice sounded dry and small, he licked his chapped lips. I didn't respond since I trying to figure out where the hell I was.
"Well if your not going to answer me then I will tell you why I am here" My eyes went back to him. He started chuckle to himself hysterically, "This bullshit...if I would have known, I wouldn't have got involved with her. My dumbass had to fall in love"What is he talking about? "Hyoyeon she played me well" He laughed harder almost to the point that he looked in real pain. Suddenly the sound of his laughter stopped echoing off the warehouse walls. My eyes fixated on him.
"Who are you?"
Third.
Finding Krystal wasn't hard for Kai. He knew her location with just the sight of the van. He didn't know what he would do once he appeared at that warehouse. Telling Tiffany wasn't an option, neither was trusting any of Hyoeyon's people because if they knew they would know his real intentions. His real position.
