Bait my ass!

Hyoyeon was now out of sight maybe trying to hide so that no one would know she was here. She didn't say who we were bait for. Most likely Tiffany because who else would she be after then Tiffany. Although that was the simplest answer, why keep me here? Although I did work for her, I doubt me and Hwang were close enough for her to be looking for me. It's horrible to be coming to that conclusion but honestly would she?

A sound of a drop of metal echoed throughout the warehouse. Both me and Donghae turned to the source but no one was there. Then there was the sound again. I put my gaze upon Donghae. He gestured his head to the right to like someone. Kai.

If I could facepalm right now I would, that dumbass. He probably followed me here. I shook my head. Hyoyeon is going to catch him. I can't let her see him but what can I do I am the one needing to be freed. Before I knew it Kai was in front of me taking the ropes off my feet. "Kai you can't be here. Lea-!" He stop my words all the sudden when he kissed me.

"It's okay I've everything under control" He contained to untie me. Getting me free he went to Donghae, letting him out the ropes. He nodded at Donghae in understanding before he took my hand into his, "We have to go now!" he yanked me along. I attempted to get his attention, "Kai we can't she wanted us to be ba-" Kai turned me around putting his arm around my neck. "I caught her" He proclaimed, holding my neck gently. What is he doing?

"Shit! Don't worry okay? Just play along" He held me tighter, pressing his body against my back. I could feel him trembling. Does he really have everything under control? "Finally geez took you long enough" Hyoyeon entered the room with several men following. "I was coming in when I saw her trying to escape with him" He pointed at Donghae, who didn't seem phased. I remember what he said 'play along'. I pretended to struggle in his grasp, "I can't believe I thought you cared about me asshole."

"So tragic" Hyoyeon mockingly fake cried. I didn't waver in my gaze even if my mind was. "You fucking work for her?" I huffed angrily. "Put her back in the chair and make sure she stays there like the bitch she is. Hwang will be here soon enough to acquire her precious items" Once she disappeared into her upstairs office. Kai roughly pushed me back since other men were still eyeing us like hawks. "I am sorry we will find some other way" He whispered to me. "Believe it or not I am not with her"

"What is going on?" I quickly asked eyeballing him the whole time as he redid the ties. He didn't answer me only focusing on the ties. "Kai" His flicked to mine but they were different. He pinched the bridge of his nose, sighing quietly, "I can't tell you...just trust me" Did he even know what he was doing? Wouldn't it be better just to fill me in? He looked worried as is.

I didn't like not knowing nothing. Being oblivious didn't fit well with me. I pressed my lips together. I do trust him to help us both. Maybe I need to just let go of my wants and just do. After all what other options do I have. I nodded to him in agreement,

"Okay"

Kai walked to the iron steps that led to the 2nd floor which Hyoyeon's office was on. He couldn't deny the fact he was nervous. He didn't have a plan at all. All he had was his cover, a gun, and his wit. Krystal's trust to top it all off. He didn't mean for this to happen. He knew very well that she hated this situation more than anything. He remembers when they would watch Disney films with the girl being saved by the guy.

Krystal would throw popcorn at the TV for the sappy storyline. Even though she knew that Jessica loved watching the films. She still sat there with her to watch them.

He chuckled at himself for remembering something so small in a time like this. Maybe it was a way to remind himself that things can be normal again. How badly he wanted this to just end.

"I told you before that if you didn't break ties with her. You would regret it" Hyoyeon rose from her seat. "Is this a living hell enough" She clicked her tongue. "I am still here aren't it" Kai rose a brow at her. "I guess so which doesn't make any sense. Why would you turn in your girlfriend to me?" Kai hovered his lips over Hyoyeon's ear, "Maybe because I enjoy the ride we are having." He was only surprised by the sudden object between them. "You can't fool me" Hyoyeon pushed him away revealing the gun she was holding that was directly pointed at his heart.

"I knew about you trying to play me. I might have no involvement in dirty work but I always know everything. I happen to find out about you and Tiffany. Nice, you were trying to help her get information" Kai wasn't worried at all by Hyoyeon's words or gun. The only reason was because she knew nothing. Only half the truth. In reality Kai wasn't working for either of them. Maybe...
