Stargazing (Akashi x Reader)

Summer this year was hotter than last year, however the night breeze was gentle against your skin and cool down your heated body. Staring at the bleeding sunset, your phone chimed indicating that it received a message. Sitting up from a blanket laid out on the roof of your house, you unlocked your phone and checked the message. 

"From: Sei-chan❤

Subject: I'm already here

Message: (y/n), your mother let me in the house and you're not in your room. Where are you?"

Smiling at the text message, your fingers at rapid pace replied to the message. You wanted your boyfriend, Seijuro Akashi, to find where you are. It was like a small test of whether he knew you well enough.

"To: Sei-chan❤

Subject: Re:I'm already here

Message: Find me! (ﾉ≧∀≦)ﾉ"

Pressing 'send' on your phone, you set it down next to you and laid back down on the blanket. Enjoying the sunset for a few more moments, your phone chimed one more time.

"From: Sei-chan ❤

Subject: Close your eyes

Message: (y/n), close your eyes then. I want to surprise you"

After reading the message, you turn off your phone and set it back next to you. Lying back onto the blanket, your closed your eyes hoping to not miss the sunset. Seeing the red under your eyelids fade slowly into blue and purple, a familiar scent reached your nose. Fluttering your eyes open, flaming red hair matching the near gone sunset was the first thing you saw.

"Sei-chan, you found me"

Akashi sweetly smiled and sat next to your lying body. "Your window was open"

Not wanting to sit up, you pulled Akashi down to the blanket next to you and laid your head on your chest. He then wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you closer against his body. 

"(y/n), the sun is disappearing. Aren't you going to watch it?"

Opening your eye and focusing them on Akashi, you raised an eyebrow. "Weren't you the one who almost killed a guy just because he told me that I had nice shoes?"

Akashi stiffened, "A guy wouldn't be interested in your shoes if he wasn't trying to steal you from me"

"Mhmm" You hummed and stared at the sky "The stars are going to show soon, close your eyes I'll tell you when to open them"

Akashi rested his chin on top of your head and shut his eyes. You grabbed Akashi's free hand and tangled your fingers with his. Once the light in the sky passed the horizon, the stars started to lit one by one in the sky. Looking over at Akashi's face, you reached your face over to Akashi and pecked his cheek.

"Okay Sei-chan, open your eyes"

Watching Akashi open his eyes, he examined the starry sky and a look of awe washed over him and the stars were reflected in his eyes. You giggled at his reaction and pecked his cheek once again.

"Sei-chan, you don't look at the stars at night that much right?"

Akashi looked back over to you and pressed his lips against your head. "I love you"

"I love you too" You replied and pulled yourself closer to Akashi.

Closing your eyes, the soft breeze took you to sleep with the warmth of your lover to protect you. 

"The beauty of these stars can't win against your love..."
