Love isn't For Us (Murasakibara x Reader)

A/N: I'm back from the dead and finished with finals, requests are welcome! 

His hands touched your cheeks, the coldness soothing the heat of your face. Deep violet eyes staring into your bright orbs, unable to look him straight in the eyes they averted.

He whispered softly, "Please look at me.."

Your lips opened, words barely audible, "A-Atsushi..."  

"No stop! Cut! Cut! Cut!"

A booming voice erupted throughout the room, all eyes turned to face the center of the room. That booming voice belonged to Ayano Tachibana, a junior of Yosen high. Ayano specializes in film making and wanted to create a heart breaking movie about two lovers who don't believe that their love will ever be real, 'Love isn't For Us". Due the lovers having no experience in love, Ayano wanted you and Murasakibara to play the leading roles of the lovers. It brings out the naive behavior on love she says.

Ayano came down up to you and grabbed your cheeks. "(y/n), his name is Marcus the 'I lived in the states for all my life but came back to Japan for highschool'! Not Atsushi the 'I eat sweets everyday and don't try my hardest cause I'm tired all the time'!"

"Ow ow ow! Senpai! I'm so sorry!" 

Ayano pulled your cheeks harder, until Murasakibara came to your recuse. "Senpai? You're hurting (y/n)-chin, we need her for the film"

Ayano let go of your cheeks and glared at Murasakibara, she was fairly short for her age and could not reach to Murasakibara's face without a ladder. Thus, she secretly started to hate Murasakibara without her knowing it. "F-Fine, let's record again!"

Returning back into your spot, Murasakibara patted your head, "It's okay if you mess up (y/n)-chin, I like being here with you"

The red on your checks returned. "We're filming!"

The room went quiet once the clapper board created a thunderous sound filling the whole room. Murasakibara slowly cupped your cheeks, he leaned in closer once your eyes avoided his gaze. "Please look at me..."

"Marcus..." Your eyes returned back to his orbs. "...I always loved you"

Murasakibara's lips curved into a small smile and embraced you, before whispering, "You're the only snack for me"

"Cut! Cut! Cut again! Stop filming!" 

 Ayano rolled up the script in her hands and faced Murasakibara, "What happened?!! Everything was perfect until you said 'snack'! It's suppose to be 'girl'!"

Murasakibara shrugged his shoulders, "I suppose I got hungry"

Ayano was ready to jump on Murasakibara, it was now your turn to step in and save him. "S-Senpai? I think now is a good time to take a break, Atsushi is hungry and I'm staring to feel a bit tired"

Massaging the bridge of her nose, Ayano released a deep breath, "Fine, go ahead"

"Thank you senpai!" You bowed to Ayano and turned to face Murasakibara, "Atsushi, do you want to go out to the convenience store with me? We can buy snacks there!"

"Muro-chin already brought snacks" Murasakibara pointed at the beauty marked male, both hands holding grocery bags filled with presumably snacks.

"Oh okay..." Muttering in a tone of defeat. 

To you Murasakibara was your best friend ever since Teiko, he would always keep you accompany when he had no basketball practice or when he would skip just for you (and to grab more snacks). Throughout those years, a desire to be more than just friends came to your realization. It was a miracle that the two of you were playing lovers, and that he was completely unfazed with kissing you. The thought of his lips against your own made you blush a deep red.

"Are you okay (y/n)-chin? You're pretty red" Murasakibara placed his hand against your cheek, just like during filming.

"N-Nothing's wrong, just nervous.." 

Murasakibara pulled his hand back, "About the kiss scene?"

"Y-Yeah... It's going to be my first kiss I guess"

"We can rehearse the scene. In private"

Your face turned a deeper shade of red, "W-W-What??!!"

"There's too many people here, and senpai can go film the other scenes while we rehearsing"

"I g-guess so.."

Letting go of your hand, Murasakibara headed towards Ayano, who then started to give off a dark aura before massaging the bridge of her nose like always. Murasakibara returned back to you, "Senpai said that we had 15 minutes"

You smiled, "Alright! Now where are we going to rehearse?"

"There's an empty classroom over there" Murasakibara suggested, and you agreed.

Entering the classroom, you closed the door behind you and took out your script. "Okay we can start at the scene we were just filming and practice that for a while"

Murasakibara stood in front of you, he cupped your cheeks and looked into your eyes lovingly. You then avoided his gaze, before Murasakibara continued, "Please look at me..."

"Atsushi..." Your eyes returned back to his orbs. "...I always loved you"

Murasakibara brought you closer and whispered, "You're the only girl for me.."

Then he leaned in towards your face and connected his lips with your own. The warmth of his lips spread to yours and the red crawled to your cheek. Murasakibara pulled back, "I love you too (y/n)-chin"

You raised an eyebrow, that was never in the- Your eyes widen and immediately your hands went to your face covering the redness. "D-Did he just confess to me?!"

Murasakibara pulled you into an embrace, "By the way (y/n)-chin, I was never acting during the whole filming"

Letting your hands drop from your face, you slowly looked at Murasakibara and responded, "N-neither was I..."

The film was being played in front of the whole school, you took a seat between Murasakibara and Ayano. The room went dark and the film started to roll, you turned to Murasakibara who was eating his snacks given to him by Himuro. Throughout the whole screening of the movie, small intimate action happened between the two of you, leaning against each other, holding hands, and playing with each others hair. By the end of the movie, the two of you looked like an couple, and Ayano jumped out of her seat and turned to face you.

"You guys should be a couple!" Ayano announced "You guys played the characters really well, especially in the last scene"

"Senpai" You started.

"We were never acting" Murasakibara finished.
