Hello, lovelys! Well, I attempted NaNoWriMo and got about 16K before I hit a major roadblock. But I missed writing, so I'm back to my fanfics! I hope you enjoy!

Niall
Paul stares at us, particularly the boy flying in the air and the one holding 500 pounds of metal with one hand, his jaw dropped. "What? You...and you..." he mutters, pointing at each of us.
"We can explain," Liam says. The five of us immedaitely march in his direction.
"How did this happen to you boys?" Paul asks; his expression is changing from shock to...worry.
I shrug. "It's a long story."
"Well, we've got a long time." Paul crosses his arms over his chest, tapping his foot impatiently.
Zayn is the one to step up. He tells Paul about the party, the glow that attracted us to the rock that we're pretty sure gave us our powers. We each share our own individual stories about how we discovered our gifts, and how they were pretty out of control until this short training session we had. By the time we're done, Paul's face reads concern, but his eyes shine with excitement. Two very different emotions.
Rotating on his heel and glancing back over his shoulder, Paul says, "Come on, lads. I should get you home."
I look at the others, who wear the same expression as me. Paul is contradicting himself; that much is clear, comparing the way he's walking to the thrilled gleam in his eyes. Something is going on.
The five of us follow him outside, piling into the SUV. Before Paul gets inside, he stands right by the door, pulls out his phone, and calls someone. Curious, I try really, really hard to listen, but can't hear a thing. He ends the call, jumping into the car and taking off. With a shrug, I pull out my own phone and open up Twitter.
The ride back to our flat building, despite only being a ten minute drive, is long and quiet and very awkward. No one speaks. Paul looks like he's lost in thought. Harry and Liam are texting each other. Louis and Zayn are exchanging looks of concern.
What I don't get is Paul's changing emotions. When he first walked into the warehouse and saw us, he was shocked. However, when we told him about what was going on, he instantly became a combination of concern and excitement. He's hiding something. I'm just not sure what.
Paul turns on the blinker to pull into the "U"-shaped diveway leading to the entrance of the building, but at the last second, he changes his mind and speeds ahead.
"Uh, Paul--"
"No." His blunt response to Liam shuts us up. Paul quickly parallel-parks with a speed and skill you'd only see in spy movies.
I look at Harry in alarm. His face is painted with anxiety, as I'm sure my own is. We've never, ever seen Paul act so...strange. I decide to lean forward and speak up. "Paul?"
He doesn't say anything at first. He glances down, then out the window then finally at us.
"Boys, there's a lot about me that you don't know. And I never would have told you if it wasn't for these new gifts you have." He takes a long, deep breath. "Do you boys remember the London Super League? All those heroes from the 90s?"
"Oh, yeah. They were my role models," Zayn says.
"They were even famous in Ireland," I agree.
Paul nods, a small smile crossing his face. "Well, lads, in my past, I was one of them."
Our jaws drop at the same time. "You mean to say you were--"
"A member of the LSL? Yes. Sidesweep to be exact."
