Hey guys! I'm sorry I havenmt updated in a while. School just finished. Woo! Anyway, above are Jack and James and here's the chapter. Enjoy!

Oli's POV

I stopped outside the big white house.
I walked up the walkway and knocked on the door. I waited for a few moments. Nothing. I knocked again. Nothing.
"ugh...James..." I sighed.
I picked up my phone and dialed his number. Ever since his text we arranged for me to come to his house and help. It rung a few times. No answer.
"Too much?" I heard.
I turned around to see James in a black tux, his bowtie tied cutely around his neck. His normally messy hair was gelled and neatly combed.
My mouth fell open at the sight before snapping shut.
"Oh James! You look amazing!" I gushed.
His cheeks turned a rosy pink before flashing a goofy grin.
"Thanks Ol's, do you think she'll like it?" he asked nervously.
I nodded happily.
"Of course! You look perfect"
He smiled and picked up two bouquet's, both of red roses.
One had about twelve and the other had five.
He walked over to me and handed me the smaller one.
"Here, for your help" he smiled.
I felt the blush creep up on to my face.
"Thank you James...now go get her!"
He chuckled and walked over to his car, stepping in and looking at me for reassurance. I nodded once and he smiled before driving off.
I watched as the black Mercedes drove off before going over to my pale blue Mini and driving home.

Jack's POV

I watched as she drove off. Where was she going? I glanced at my watch.
It was nearly eight o'clock. Maybe she was going to see her friend. What was her name again? Ah well. I don't really care if I'm honest. Why do I even care about her? I can have any girl I want. She's no different, right?
I threw myself on my bed and sighed.

Of course she's different you idiot.

Shut up brain!

You know it's true.

It is not!

...

Yeah that's what I thought...

Not literally...

Shut up!

I groaned to myself. What is wrong with me? I mean, I've liked girls before sure, but this is just weird. I don't even know her!

But you did know her...

I sighed. My stupid brain was right. I did know her.

Flashback

I trudged through the snow over to her house. I knocked on the door and it swung open, revealing a very smiley bundled up girl.
"Hey Jack!" she cheered.
"Hey! Wanna make a snowman?" I asked.
"You know it!" she yelled a quick goodbye to her mom and bounded down the porch steps. She jumped on to the snow and started to make the bottom if the snowman while I worked on the middle.
"Hey Jack?" she called.
"Hmm?"
"Promise me we'll be best friends forever. Promise?" she sounded so worried. Why would I leave her? She's my best friend, my sister. My crush...
"I promise" I smiled.
She grinned widely before going back to making our snow friend.

End of flashback

I broke the promise I made nine years ago.
I felt a pang of guilt hit my chest. I'm such an arsehole.
I glanced at the clock again. 20:07.
She should be home soon. As soon as she is I'm gonna talk to her. Apologize. Maybe she'll forgive me... Fuck I hope she does...
