Jack's POV

Edward fell to the floor with a loud thud. I felt bad for punching my best friend, but something about him insulting Olivia just pushed me way over the edge.
I walked out of the kitchen and made my way through the sea of people to Olivia. When she saw me a light smile appeared on her lips that made my heart flutter. I sat down next to her handing over her drink.
"Thank you" she spoke in my ear over music.
I smiled in reply and looked around the room, everyone was drunk except a few who were close to it. People were grinding on each other and taking shots.
"Do you want to leave?" I asked Olivia who looked uncomfortable.
She gave me a shy smile as if to say 'would you mind?'.
I rose from the sofa and offered her my hand to help her up, which she took.
We walked across the dance floor and to the front door. I grabbed her jacket and placed it over her shoulders which she responded to with a quiet "thank you" and we made our way to my car.
I opened the door for her to get in and then went to the drivers seat.
I texted the boys saying I had gone home and that they would have to find another way home and slipped my phone in my pocket after and started the car.
"Where are we going?" Olivia asked.
"Do you want to go home?"
She shook her head.
"Well...my parents away on a business trip, do you want to come over?" I asked hopeful.
She smiled and nodded.
"Okay, let's a go!" I chirped imitating Mario.
We drove in silence, but it was comfortable silence.

I parked the car in my driveway and took the key out of the ignition. I got out and opened the door for Olivia, which I received another smile and a thank you for.
I fumbled for my keys and unlocked the front door and held it open for Olivia while I turned on the lights.
"You're house really is beautiful" she smiled.
"It's the same as when you were last here" I smiled.

~Flashback~

"Olivia! I found the Nutella!" I yelled up the stairs.
She bounced down the stairs.
"Yay! Do we have toast?!" she asked running in to the kitchen.
"Yeah, I just need to make it"
"Okay, don't take forever. I'm hungry!"
I laughed and popped the toast in to the toaster and pushed the leaver down.
"Okay, about two minutes should do" I said satisfied.
Olivia nodded in approval.
"So you excited about going back to school?" I asked.
She shook her head no.
"You won't be in the same school, so no" she sighed.
"We'll see each other after school though!" I said happily.
She seemed to cheer up a bit.

Ping!

"Toast!!!!" we both exclamed happily.

~Flashback over~

Olivia gave me a sad smile, I know she remembered that day. It was the last day we really hung out as friends.
"So, do you wanna watch a movie?" I asked trying to change the subject.
"Sure" she smiled.
I led her to my room where I had all my movies and my tv.
When she walked in she gasped. I turned around to make sure she was okay, but she just looked shocked.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Your room! It's changed so much!" she exclaimed.
I laughed. "Well yeah, did you expect me to have race car wallpaper and toy story bedsheets when I'm seventeen?" I chuckled.
"Well, no...but still, it's so...mature?" she said almost in disgust, which made me laugh more.
It's true, my room has changed a lot. The race car wallpaper was replaced with pale blue paint. The single bed and toy story bed were replaced with a double bed and black sheets and my old kiddie desk was now a university black slick desk with a leather chair to match. My shelves were now filled with videogames and movies plus accessories and some books, instead of model cars and toy planes. A fifty inch flat screen tv replaced the aquarium that was on top of the black stand. The curtains weren't a pattern of monkeys and lions anymore nor was the rug.
"I guess you grew up" Olivia sighed.
"But I'm still me" I assured her.
She smiled before jumping on my bed, smilling happily and kicking her shoes off.
"What?" she said looking at me.
"Just because we haven't spoken in four years doesn't mean I'm gonna act differently in your room.
I smiled so much, she's still her.
I went over to my shelf, "okay, what do you wanna watch?" I asked.
"Horror!" she exclaimed.
I gave her a raised eyebrow.
"What?" she asked.
"Last time we watched a horror film, you peed yourself"
"I was ten!"
"So?"
"Just put one on" she said rolling her eyes.
I chuckled and popped in 'Nightmare on Elm Street', the new one obviously.
I hopped on my bed next to Olivia and kicked my shoes off, getting comfortable.
She laid her head on my shoulder as we began to watch the movie.
