Chapter 9

Evans POV:

Once we got dressed we went down to the kitchen were everyone was already at the table waiting on us. I looked at my mom and saw she was smirking at me because of what she walked in on. Derek and I both sat down next to each other to eat.

"So, how was everyone's day," asked dad.

"Mine was good daddy, I played with Sara today," said Caleb.

"Yeah, it was fun playing with Caleb," said Sara with a big grin on her face.

"Mine was boring daddy," said Rose.

"Why's that princess," asked dad.

"Because you wouldn't play dress up with me," she pouted.

"Mine was okay," said Julian shyly.

All of a sudden Derek stood up abruptly, knocking the chair over.

"Excuse me but I need to say something..."

Oh god he's not  gunna... is he?

"Mom I know you have been wanting me to find my mate, well I found him, Evan is my mate," he said the last part very slowly.

Everyone just started cheering and clapping, except Rose since she was to young to know what a mate is yet.

My mom ran around the table and hugged me and Derek,"I'm so happy for you two," she said.

She went back around and sat next to dad and held his hand. Derek's mom stood up and hugged us to saying how proud she was of Derek. Then little Rose pops up and says "Mommy what's a mate?"

"Well baby, a mate is your other half, the person you are supposed to be with forever," said mom. When she said this I looked up at Derek and smiled, excited to see what our future holds.

Hey guys, I know it has been awhile since I updated and I'm sorry. But as you probably remember I was really down about people not giving feed back. Well now I really don't give a F*** if you like it or not. If you do, great, vote and comment. If you don't then go shove it up your A**, because I don't care. I don't have time for haters so I will not even bother to give them the time of day.

Now, for the little crowd who actually does like my book and stuck around this long, thank you. But I must warn you, I'm about to start college and have a job and am about to get another one.
