Chapter 11

Evan's POV:

I woke up with Dereks arm wrapped around me and someone small press between us. I look down and see Rose sleeping like the little angel she is. I smile and kiss her head then get up without disturbing them and go take a shower.

15 minutes later 

Once I get out of the shower I do all my morning routine and then get dressed. I go back in my room to see Derek and Rose cuddled up in their sleep. I quickly snap a picture and send it to mom and dad.

I go down stairs and see mom cooking breakfast and smiling at her phone.

"Are you smiling at what I sent you," I ask her.

She jumps slightly and turns around to smile at me.

"Goodmorning baby and yes I was, that's adorable. I don't think the moon goddess could have picked a better mate for you. Although we didn't even know if you would have a mate since you're human but I'm glad you do," she said while still cooking.

"Why is that mom?" I ask her.

"Because now there is a less likely chance of you getting heart broken because of the mate bond. I would hate to see you hurt the way I was and I would hate seeing your father being convicted of murder because someone hurt you. But I strongly think Derek is a good boy who will treat you how you deserve," she preached to me.

"You're absolutly right Mrs. Williams, I would never hurt Evan," said someone from behind us.

We both turned around to see Derek standing in the doorway with a still sleepy Rose on his shoulder.

Mom quickly dished out the food for me and Derek and put the rest in a warmer. Then she kissed my head and walked over to Derek and took Rose from him. She kissed his cheek and said "I know Derek, I trust you," then she left to probably bathe and dress Rose after waking everyone.

Derek came and sat by me, I leaned over and kissed him and said "I trust you too," then started eating my food.

We ate in silence for a little while till we heard my dads voice and a bunch of tiny feet running towards the kitchen.
