Chapter 2

Recap:

"I'm... gay."

Present time:

"Sweetie that's okay. We won't judge you. We love you just the way you are," spoke Alex.

"Thank you," I said as I got up and hugged them.

"But we only have one rule," said Ben.

"What is it?"

"No having sex with some guy in this house... Well... just don't have sex yet," said Ben.

"I don't plan on it. In fact, I don't even want a boyfriend right now," I said sitting back down.

"Okay, well me and Ben need to discuss some pack business with David and Kylee, but then we will tell you anything you want to know about werewolves," said Alex, kissing my cheek.

"Okay, do you want me to take the kids out somewhere," I asked them.

"Yes, thank you. But make sure you are back by 2:00, I'll give you guys some money," said Alex.

Five minutes later we were out the door and walking to the park down the road.

"Are you guys excited to go to the park," I asked all of them.

"Yes," they shouted.

"Do you want to get ice cream afterwards?"

"Yes please bubby," said Rose.

"Okay, but for right now you guys go play," I said 'cause we were now at the park.

I sat down on a bench as the kids ran to the playground. Devin was playing in the grass at my feet, Caleb and Sara went to the swings and were laughing , and Rose and Julian ran up to a group of girls and started to talk and laugh.

I was watching the kids when I felt someone sit down next to me. I looked to my right and I saw the most amazing guy.

"Hey, see something you like," the mystery guy said with the hottest smirk I have ever seen on his face.

I blushed and looked down at my lap. I can't believe he caught me staring, I thought.

"What's your name," said Mr. Hottie.

"Evan," I whispered.

"Mines Derek," he said.

I nodded my head.

"Do you want to go somewhere and talk?"

"I would but I have to watch my siblings," I replied.

"That's fine, I have my little sister too, they can just come with us," he suggested.

Just when Derek said that a little red headed girl came bouncing up to him and sat on his lap.

"Hi, I'm Cassie. Are you my brothers new boyfriend," she asked me.

"No, I'm not his boyfriend. My names Evan and it's very nice to meet you Cassie," I said smiling at her. But when I said that I wasn't Derek's boyfriend he looked... disappointed?

"Why don't you round up your siblings and then we can go," said Derek.

"Okay," I set out to find the kids.

Five minutes later:

I was back and we had just got through with introductions and now we where walking to a ice cream parlor down the road.

"Do you want me to take him," asked Derek, referring to a sleeping Devin in my arms.

"No I got him, but thank you," I said back.

We walked in silence for a little while until we came up on a place called Linda's  (That place is made up). Derek held the door open for us all. Once we got in we walked up to the counter and the lady behind it asked us what we wanted.

"We'll take two chocolate, three vanilla, and one cookie-dough please," I told the lady nicely.

"That'll be $20.54 and your number is 263," said the lady.

Before I could hand her the money, Derek handed her a 50 dollar bill.

"Keep the change," he said and started to pull me away.

"Derek! You don't need to pay for us," I scolded him.

"I want to, it's okay," he said and made me sit down in a booth as he slid in next to me. The kids all sat opposite us, except for Devin he was in my lap.

"So, Evan, tell me about your self," he said.

There it was the question he had been dreading, now he's going to hate me for having such a screwed up life...
