Nightwing's POV
Its been an hour an a half and Mar'i hasn't came home yet. Something's wrong. I know it is. I finally stopped waiting and called her. Someone then picked up "Mar'i! Are you okay?! Where are you?!" I asked, and a strange said "Hello Dick." I knew that voice, I could never forget that voice. It's Slade. "Where is she?!" I asked aggressively, wanting to know where the hell my daughter is! "Come to the warehouse on the south side docks, its time we had a chat. Just like old times." he said, and hung up the phone. I quickly ran out my condo and grappled my way to south side. If he lays a finger on her, he's finished!

I made it there, and walked into the warehouse to see Slade next to the tied up and unconscious Mar'i. "It's been a while, Dick." Slade said 'Five years, so why you decide to show your ugly face now?" I asked, and Slade just laughed. "You didn't think just because I helped you back in San Francisco means we're friends? I'm still a mercenary Dick, and you have a bounty on your head." he explained, and slapped the back on Mar'i's head to wake her up, which worked "Dad-" she exclaimed and when she tried moving Slade held his sword to her neck "Dad? I see I missed something. You had a child? Interesting. Remember Rose? Remember how you took her eye out? It be ashamed if that happened to your daughter, Dick." he threatened "No! Don't you hurt her!" I shouted in rage, he better not lay a hand on her! "At ease Dick, I'm not here to hurt her. I'm here to collect my reward. As long as your daughter does not interfere in our fight, I won't harm her." Slade stated and took the sword away from her neck. "Mar'i, don't get involved. That's an order!" I told her, and she hesitated a little but then nodded in agreement. I then took out my shock sticks, and Slade took out his swords. We then started running at each other, and the battle began.

As we came close to each other, he tried slicing me with his swords but I jumped over and kicked him in the head. When went back and forth, exchanging blows left and right. I threw a punch, but he caught it and threw a punch of his own but I caught his as well. We then did a test if strength "You've gotten better over the years, boy." Slade stated, and I head butted him and spin kicked him. It knocked his mask off, revealing his white hair, aged face, and cold eye with an eye patch over the other eye. I put my shock sticks together, and Slade took out his pistols and started shooting at me. I spinned my staff quickly so I wouldn't get shot and once I got close to him I sweep kicked him and held him down. "Who put the hit out?!" I asked, demanding an answer and started punching him furiously "Alright! Its The Joker! Joker put the bounty out!' Slade exclaimed, and I became more livid. That damn clown tried getting me killed, and in dangered my daughter! I got up and looked at Slade's beaten physical state "Don't ever come after me or her. Consider this mercy." I threatened, and went to get Mar'i and went home.
