Nightstar's POV
Dad pretty much grounded me after I got captured my that Deathstroke guy. Well, not really, he just doesn't let me go on missions as frequently anymore. Which sucks! I miss the action! All I do now is stake out with him, which would be okay if the guy actually talked to me when we are staking out. Whatever, I guess I'll endure it until he needs me, which he will. I know it.

Tonight, we started staking out again, and it's the same boring thing! "Hey Mar'i." Dad called, I was surprised he was talking to me "How does you dad do it. He's Batman and he had a you with Kori. How?" Dad asked, and I really didn't understand the question "I don't know what you mean." I told him "I broke up with Kori because I thought since we are both heroes, we can't have normal lives and settle down and have a family. But now that I know another Dick has done it, I don't know anymore." Dad said, and I went over and sat next to him. It's time we had a father daughter talk.

"I haven't known you very long, but you tell yourself you can't do things a lot." I stated, and he looked at me as if I'm wrong. "You constantly say you can't be Batman, or get married, or have a kids. You're Dick Grayson you can do anything you want!" I stated, and he started smiling "And if you love mom as I know you do, than you should be able to do anything with her. Whether it be fighting crime, having a family, whatever! You can do, so stop telling yourself you can't!" I said, and he smiled more and hugged me "Thanks Mar'i." Dad said, and I smiled and said "Anytime Dad."
