The One

Chapter 10

After we finished eating at Fuji, it was time to go to the hotel and wind down for the night. Little did I know that Brad and his parents were staying in the same hotel as my family and me! My dad checked us in as we all rolled our suitcases in for the night. Once we were checked in, we all went to the room and relaxed for just a minute. Klaudia and I rub our feet as they hurt from standing around in heels for a few hours. Once my feet felt better, I got up and decided to change. I changed into a pink t-shirt, yoga pants and socks. I was so much more comfortable. I put my dress back in the bag and hung it up on the bathroom door. Klaudia then changed into something more comfortable too as I turned on the TV and tried to find something good that was on. My dad steps in the room wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Klaudia walked out of the bathroom as Melissa walked in wearing capris and a cute tank top. We all looked at each other for a minute before somebody spoke.

"Alright ladies, give me hugs. Melissa and I are going out to celebrate," my dad said.

Klaudia and I squeezed him tight when we gave him hugs. Next thing we knew, my dad and Melissa were heading out the hotel door. However, they stopped, turned around, and looked at us.

"Why don't you two come downstairs and get some coffee while you wave us goodbye?" Melissaa asked.

Klaudia and I didn't hesitate for a second. We grabbed the key to the hotel room and headed to the elevator with our dad and Melissa. Once we got into the elevator, it was really quiet for a little bit as we were on the fourth floor and we had to get down to floor one. There was complete silence and I couldn't stand the silence. I turned around and gave my dad and Melissa a very stern look.

"If you two are going out, you have to be back home and asleep by 10 p.m. Do you hear me?" I said jokingly.

We all bursted out into laughter as the elevator just kept going down. We were still laughing even when the elevator doors opened. Andrew and Carrie were sitting in the lobby waiting for my dad and Melissa. I poured Klaudia's coffee and I gave a sweet smile to everyone as they headed to the doors. At the very last second, Andrew runs over to me and gets super close to me. He whispered the room number that Brad was staying in and then took off. I finished making my coffee quick and took off into the elevator with Klaudia.

Once we got the floor that Brad was staying on, I looked quickly for his room number. I turned my head left and right looking for it. Eventually, I found the room! I knocked on the door, and then hid around the corner. As soon as I hear Brad open the door, I poked my head back around. I looked at him and smiled.
