Chapter 23

Zayns POV:

Today was one of the most scariest days of my life. That was a close death experience for me, but Brenda was able to save me. Thank God.

We were home now, watching movies in the living room like usual. Everyone was asleep by now except Niall and I.

"Ni?" I asked.

"Yeah Zayn?" He answered.

"Do you know what's up with Brenda today?" Something has been up with her, especially after the scare.

"What do you mean lad?"

"I don't know, she's been acting a little weird cause of last night and even more after what happened at Michelle's house, but Im not sure if she noticed."

"Well what happened at Michelle's house it's understandable, she was most likely scared to death thinking one of her bestfriends, not to mention one of her idols, could have died. And the other thing..." He sounded like he didn't want to tell me.

"So you know?"

"Umm.. Yeah, she told me about it earlier."

"C'mon mate, tell me please."

"She feels like a slut. Which I clearly told her she isn't."

"Why would she feel like a slut, we didn't do any-"

"It's not just because of what happened Zayn, but because when she walked Geoffrey to his car they kissed." He cut me off.

"Wait what?" I said lifting my head up to see him better yet trying not to wake Brenda up since she was sleeping in my arms. He nodded his head. "So she kissed Geoffrey and then that happened after so she feels like a slut?"

"Technically yes, but I don't consider her as a slut at all and I'm really hoping you don't either. I'm going to sleep now, goodnight mate."

"Night." I said as I layed back down. I looked at Brenda and saw her sleeping peacefully. I removed a strand of hair from her face and placed it behind her ear. She made a little noise and moved a little closer to me, snuggling her head into my chest. I smiled at her actions and then finally dozed of into a deep sleep.

Brenda's POV:

"Wake up you guys! It's Halloween!" Lou yelled waking us up.

"What time is it?" I mumbled.

"9:30." Liam answered sleepily.

"Hell no. I'm going to my room. It's too early to be awake." I said getting up lazily and walking to my room.

I entered and tucked myself into my bed, grabbed the big teddy, and started dozing off. I heard my door open and close.

"I'm not getting up. Leave." I said sleepily.

"I'm going back to sleep too." Zayn said as he layed down and wrapped his arms around my waist spooning me.

"I already have a teddy thanks tho." I giggled.

He faked a gasp, "That teddy isn't as comfy as me."

"It is by a long shot." We both laughed. "Okay now, go to sleep or get out."

"Alright, I'll go to sleep." And with that I knocked out again.

I woke up to my phone ringing next to me.

I didn't even check the caller ID I was too tired.

"Hello?" I said sleepily.

"Buenos Dias hermosa, did I wake you?" Wtf? Is it? I checked the caller ID and saw it was Geoffrey. I smiled.
