-Day 3-
Calum felt like this was some kind of joke. He even squinted and leaned closer to see if that was really her.
Roy chuckled, nodding as he looked over at his puzzled friend.
"That's definitely her, bro." Roy said, which only made it harder for the boy to believe.
Was he being Punk'd?
"Who's 'her'?" A voice questioned suspiciously beside Calum. He rolled his eyes, forgetting about the beautiful woman, Dinah, who once had his attention. Now thanks to Trina, he no longer had an interest in getting with the woman anymore.
However, though he was stuck on what was happening a level below him, he twisted in his seat, giving Dinah back his attention.
She had her arms crossed and an eyebrow raised. Calum smirked and reached a hand to put it on her knee.
"What's wrong, babe?"
Her knee jerked and she swatted his hand away from her.
"Boy, don't act like you didn't hear me. Who is 'her'? Because I'm not 'bout to have no females coming at me 'cuz their man wanna flirt." Dinah explained, a look saying 'I ain't playing' displayed plainly on her face.
Calum jerked his head back and chuckled nervously. "C'mon, Dinah."
"Don't c'mon Dinah me. Who's 'her', Calum?" Dinah knotted her brows together in irritation, wanting to smack that grin off his face. He's got some nerve acting all cocky yet he hasn't answered her question.
The boy licked his lips, opening his mouth to speak and give this girl an honest answer but she stopped him by raising a hand then standing to her feet.
"Y'know what? Save it. I knew beter than to mess with little boys in teenie bop bands." Dinah flipped her long wavy blonde hair, that smelled like fruit, as she turned and began walking away.
Calum was quick to his feet, following the girl and confusing everyone in that section.
"Cal!"
"Mate, where ya going?"
Two of his bandmates asked with furrowed brows. But the boy ignored them and continued trekking behind the fast walking Dinah Jane.
They reached the floor level, which was more crowded than the one they were in before, bumping into people and climbing through them to get by.
And through this people shuffle he was able to catch up with the girl and grab her wrist, stopping her in her step and causing her to look back at him.
"Dinah, please let me explain."
"Explain?" She scoffed and snatched her arm away, crossing her arms over her chest and rubbing her tongue against her teeth. "Okay go ahead." Her perfectly filled eyebrow raised as she awaited his response.
And he would've given her a full-lengthed, healthy lie of a reply had it not been for the couple he was a few feet away from.
Calum stared in complete shock as his old flame, Trina, giggled away at some dude who kissed her neck, maybe five steps from where he and Dinah stood.
It bothered him how perfect they looked together.
It bothered him that he was an attractive looking dude with a nice build.
It bothered him how fine she looked wearing a skin tight black dress, heels to match, and her hair big and flowy like she always liked to wear it.
But it really bothered him that he was so bothered by something someone was doing though he ended things with that someone a long time ago.
Although, no one was as bothered as Dinah Jane. She cleared her throat then snapped her finger in front of his face. This made him blink a few times then finally break his gaze from the other two.
"Uh, my bad--"
She snorted and rolled her eyes. "Yeah, it is your bad. Boy, bye." Dinah mimicked Roy's previous hand gesture, the one that displayed her hand in his face, then twisting on the heel of her fake red bottoms.
But upon her turn, she caught sight of what, no, who this 'her' may be.
Dinah chuckled dryly, clapping her hands a few times before giving a look at Calum over her shoulder.
"So, that's who she is. That's 'her'." The golden skinned girl didn't give Calum a chance to answer, though it was written all over his face, before she approached 'her', Trina.
"I didn't want him like that anyway. You can have him, sis." Dinah said to the darker skinned one, making her eyebrows meet in confusion. The irate girl flipped her hair one last time before vanishing into the crowd on another side of the club.
Calum was at lost for words. He just met the chick and then she goes on and gets mad at him like they were together. The boy rolled his eyes and hoped the woman would at least keep her mouth shut about their encounter.
But seeing how she acted with this situation, he knew that was out the window.
It was a giggle that broke his thoughts and brought him back to yet another problem of that night.
His jaw clenched as he watched the handsome man wrap his arms around Trina's waist...kind of like the way he used to.
Without thinking too much into it, Calum approached the bar they were near and ordered a drink.
Now two feeet away from them, he decided it was time to squash their little show.
"Hey, 'rina." Calum said, a hint of bitterness in his voice, which was overall seasoned with amusement.
He found this whole thing way to amusing. Not in the funny way, either. One that was so unbelievable it was almost comical.
The girl froze for a second then moved her head to the left where Calum stood with his hands in his front pockets.
And boy was he looking good that night. All black attire, something she's told him on more than one occasion that she liked him to wear. His hair, now, have grown back from his low cut earlier in the year.
To sum it up, to the girl, he looked good.
But she wasn't going to let that distract her from the way he treated her right when the tour started.
Carry on to the next chapter :]
