Chapter 7

Rocky's POV

"Ugh, another text." We say together over the phone. I check it, it was from Rose.

Girls meeting: my house 15 min food and movies aka a sleepover :)

"It's from Rose." I tell Mike.

"Mine's from Jaime, apparently there's some guys meeting at his house, we are all spending the night," He informs me.

"We should both just bail and you come over." I whine over the phone. The past 2 days, Mike and I have been talking 24/7. He just makes me happy and he's so easy to talk to plus, he can keep up with my craziness and rambling so triple win!

"I can't, it's our first official band meeting, I have to go." I start packing my things, not wanting to get off the phone.

"But..." I whine again.

"No butt's, I'll text you the whole time." I could tell he was smiling on the other end. I was giggling at the fact he said butts.

"You said butt... but fine." I roll my eyes, even though he can't see me.

"Don't you roll your eyes at me missy." I giggle at him. "I know you to well enough to know your rolling you eyes. I have to go now."

"You better text me."

"I will me." He mumbles something. "Bye."

What did he just say?

Ryley's POV

I'm sitting on Rose's purple bed when I decide to be end the silence.

"Are these normal?"

"Yes, very." Rocky says as she hangs upside down in the zebra chair. About 10 minutes ago, I got a text from Rose, saying something about a girls meeting. When I got here, Rocky was pulling up too. I knocked on the door, Rose and Jasey were no where to be found. So, Rocky being Rocky, we went up to Rose's room and just sat. Just then the door bust open and so did a lot of squealing.

"Did he really ask you?" I hear Rose ask someone, who I'm guessing is Jasey.

"Yes! And you?"

"Yes!" they jump up and down together in a little circle.

"Sorry to break up the love fest but, what are you crazy chicks squealing about?" Rocky asks, obviously annoyed.

"Jaime asked me to homecoming today!" Jasey screams.

"And Vic asked me!" Rose starts jumping up and down. Damn, she is always so happy about everything, I don't think she could ever possibly be sad.

"That's exciting." I smile friendly to the kangaroos I now have as friends.

"Yup!" Jasey smiles big and plops down on the bed next to me. "Do you have an eye on a boy?"

"No." and I begin to blush.

Jaime's POV *at the same time*

"She's perfect bro, we went simming in some creek in the woods." Vic says with a big smile.

"So she got naked?" Mike asks.

"Yes but, it wasn't sexual, it was beautiful. Man, I really like her." Vic says to us as we all drink pop. "I even asked her to Homecoming."

"Dude." I sip my pop. "I asked Jasey, maybe it will be like a double date thing?"

"I'm pretty sure Rocky and I are going..." Mike trails off.

"Are you guys like a thing?" Tony asks.

"Kinda, I guess. What about you lover boy? Ask Ryley yet?" Mike retaliates.

"No..." Tony replies.

"DO IT!!" I yell at him.

Rose's POV

"Come on, tell us!" I say as I fall into my mountain of pillows.

"There's nobody." Ryley protest.

"Oh come on! We all see how you look at Tony!" Rocky decided to finally put her phone down and join the conversation.

"I...uh..." My phone goes off and I smile big.

Hey boo :) the boys what u gurls 2 come over to talk band

Ugh really? But we r havinv gurls night

Well now u can have couples night with the band!

"Pack your bags." I tell the girls with a smile. "We are going to Jaime's house.

 Ryley's POV

So here I am, stuck in the back seat pf Rose's car with Rocky while Jasey and Rose were in the front seat jamming out to some pop song. I keep my mind focoused on the destination. Jamie's house, and Tony will be there. I really like him but I'm not good enough for him. He's to cool for me, he's popular and I'm just to shy to even talk to him.

Then, Downfall Of Us All by A Day To Remember turns on. Rose turns it up and all 4 of us scream before we start singing along.

"Da da da da." We song along the bass. The lyrics come in and we are all singing on the top of our lungs. As we pull into Jamie's drive way the song ends and we all laugh.

"You guys are amazing singers." I tell my group of friends.

"Ditto!" Rocky says and we all laugh again as we climb out. We run up the steps and walk in.

"Have no fear! Rose is here!" She yells into house.

"We are in the back room." I hear Mike yell. The group walls down the hall and into this room full of music instruments and recording equipment. There was also 2 love seats and 2 recliners. Rose skips over to Vic and sits on his lap. He kisses her neck and murmurs things into her ear that makes her giggle. Jasey sits next to Jaime on one love seat while Rocky sits on the arm of the chair Mike is sitting in. The only spot left was next to Tony. I shuffle my way over to the open side of the baby size couch.

"So are you and going to home coming with anyone?" Rocky questions Mike. I already knew he wasn't going with anyone, yet. He really wants to ask Rocky to go with him.

"Nope, we should just go together."

"How did you...?"

"I know things, so we are going. I don't care what you have to say, your coming with me." Rocky just smiles and nods. The three boys then look over and Tony. He looks wide eyed at them then turns to me.

"I uh..." He trips over his words while I look at him questionally.

"yes Tony?"

"Well there's this thing..." I blush and puts a strand of my hair behind her ear. "I was... I was..." He stops midsentence. Then he gets up and runs to the bathroom.
