six—
when they arrived at their destination, jimin was pulled from the van and dragged through large gates into a large building. it already looked like a prison, so jimin assumed that's where they were.
guards everywhere eyed him down, making him feel even smaller than he already felt. they pulled him through security, telling him what to do with booming voices. all he could do was listen to their demands and obey. it wasn't like he was going to run away or try and escape anyways. he was too weak and small to even try. after the guards felt him up for anything he might have, which he didn't have a thing, coming straight from the school after all, they rushed him on his way to the desk.
as they ushered him down the halls, jimin saw multiple plaques and awards on the walls. a few were like highest ranked fighter, best guard, honorary military prison soldier, and many others. from what jimin noticed, they were all awarded to the same man. a sturdy looking guy with black hair and stunningly sharp eyes from the pictures. he looked like someone who you wouldn't want to piss off.
jimin looked away from the unimportant awards and continued on down the hall. they stopped at a desk, glass separating them from the woman at the monitor.
presumably because past encounters with other prisoners were dangerous ones. perhaps someone had threatened to kill the desk lady because she wouldn't let them out or maybe even someone had lunged at her, actually attempting to strangle her with their bare hands. as if that would let anyone's situation.
there at the desk they ran up many things. his schedule, his cell number, his crime and details of everything. another one of those things was who his personal guard would be. apparently they were personally assigned by the warden or person in charge of everything based on specific and careful observations.
jimin didn't know what those such observations were but they didn't matter now.
jimin had no idea what else was involved in this 'check-in', but he didn't really care about that either at the moment. he awkwardly stood there, shifting back and forth on both of his feet while he waited for the guy to finish getting what he needed.
when the guy was finished he turned to jimin, shoving a paper into his handcuffed hands before turning back to the person at the desk and asking for more information. with some sort of difficulty, jimin raised the paper to his face so he could read what was on it. nothing important was on it. not really. jimin's eyes glanced across the very top of the page.
his assigned guard was officer jeon.
jimin had no idea who that was, but if he was assigned as someone arrested for murder he could only assume the guy was high-ranked.
the extremely brief information box below the name only said a few things. like his full name, age, and few facts about him. he was the wardens adopted son apparently, but that was technically all it read.
the guy got done quickly and went back to dragging jimin down the hall. after many twists and turns and going through multiple doors and gates, he was pulled up to a cell. jimin presumed it was his. he was pushed inside and the door slammed shut behind him.
jimin roughly crashed into a desk, and stumbled to turn around. the guy who brought him here stared with a blank face at him for a quick moment before walking off, leaving the other alone. jimin shifted backwards and sat down on a bed, running his hands over his face emitting a long sigh from his mouth.
well here he was. prison. for the next five years and seven months.
