Torture: Part 2

Dear Diary,

I got picked on, AGAIN. Why did they have to live for the purpose of making one’s life miserable? The trio plus Maria, just perfect, so how did I survive? Under the wrath of the wicked Maria, I was helpless and I couldn’t save Alice from her. She nearly got torn apart and my heart was nearly ripped out when I saw that. Good thing I got her back.

I thought everything was going to be okay but life does have some tricks up his sleeves. I had an encounter with the world’s most stupid and pain in the neck trio. That just completed my day of misery. I thought I was done for but from out of the blue, my hero arrived. It was Chezca. I was so amazed how she handled those pathetic trio. I was astounded by her bravery against the three who were bigger than her. I wish I could’ve done that. In the end, the bullies didn’t get to bother me and I found a new friend. A friend, which is actually HUMAN. I’m so happy that I’m smiling widely right now while writing this. Anyways, I can’t wait to formally introduce Alice to her.

When I got home, I just figured that I completely forgot about Alice, which was still inside my bag. I greeted nanny and went to my room. I took Alice out of my bag, lied down on my bed and put Alice beside me. I was excited to tell what happened.

“Alice, the three bullies were waiting for me after class and was about to pick on me again but someone arrived and stopped them…” I told her what happened and about my new friend. “I’m so happy, Alice! I have a new

friend and her name is Chezca.” I expected a reply from her, but all I received was silence. “Alice? Are you okay? Is something wrong?” I tried asking again and again but she just wouldn’t answer me. I sighed and put her down on the chair facing the window. ‘Did I do something wrong?’ I asked myself.

“Eliz, it’s time for dinner.” Nanny knocked on my door. “Come on, dear. Let’s not make the food wait.”

“I’ll be right down, nanny.” I answered her. I went to get Alice but when I was about to touch her, she moved so that I wouldn’t be able to hold her. “Come on, Alice. It’s time for dinner. Let’s go.” But she just stared ahead and wouldn’t answer me. I sighed again. ‘Oh Alice...’

After dinner, I went back to my room and got ready for bed. I turned off the lights and hugged Alice very tight.

“Good night Alice.” I didn’t hear a reply at first, but as I closed my eyes, I heard a faint “Sweet dreams, Eliz.” I smiled, and then fell asleep.

The next morning, I got up early because was so excited to go to school. Chezca was picking me up today so I had to hurry so that I won’t make her wait for me.We were going to ride on her bicycle. During breakfast, nanny asked me why I was rushing, so I told her about Chezca. Not long after I finished having breakfast, I heard the doorbell ring then raced towards the door. I passed by nanny and hastily waved goodbye then went out the door.

“Good Morning, Eliz.” Chez greeted me.

“Good Morning.”

“Ready to go?” she asked me.

“Yeah, let’s go.”

When we arrived at school, I saw the three bullies in the hallway bullying some nerd. Chezca wrapped her arm around mine.

“Don’t worry, Eliz. They won’t bother you, ‘cause I’m here.” She whispered. We walked past them but I bowed my head so that they won’t recognize me.

We walked in the classroom just in time for the bell to ring. We hurried to our seat as the teacher entered and greeted the class.

Lunch time came, Chezca were headed towards the cafeteria but the three bullies stepped in front of us.
