I Was On The Run Untill You Saved Me

Chapter 2 

I awoke with a shooting pain in my head. "Ouch, where am I" I looked around taking in my surroundings. It looked like I was in someone's bedroom, judging from the posters, draws and closet it looked like a... "Boy's room". I jumped to my feet, "whoa" my balance felt off and I ended up tumbling over.

As I fell to the floor I could hear footsteps below me... "Crap someone's coming" I jumped to my feet and landed on the bed covered myself and pretended to be asleep. The door opens and I could feel someone staring at me from the back of my head. They walk up to me and pull the blanket over my shoulder. Then they leave.
I turned around and this time I decided to get up slowly this time I didn't fall over. I slightly opened the door to peak threw to see a young boy walking away down the stairs, "few he's gone" I looked to my left and saw an open window.

I looked out the window and saw how far away the ground was from where I was standing. "Should I jump, no I could hurt myself even more, should I stealth threw down stairs. No, remember the last time I tried to stealth past a person I almost died so, I'm going to take my chances jumping". But when I was about to jump I saw a young girl walk outside into the garden. "Dammit she just ruined my chance of escaping".

So I turned around and started to play out my second plan. As I snuck down the stairs I could see the boy from before talking to an older guy, possibly his father... lucky him, he has a father he can trust, at that moment I felt tears begin to trickle down my cheeks. "Honey dear could you come help me for a second" I heard a feminine voice call over the tall male. "Coming dear" the man then took off into the dining hall I think.

"Wait so who is the other girl, his girlfriend, his sister, cousin, oh who cares as long as I get out of here in one piece". As I snuck past the two parents and the boy now all I need to do is sneck past the girl in the garden. I hid in the bushes until I got to the gate; I slowly opened it and snuck out until... "Hey you I know you, where are you going" the girl had spotted me and now I was on the run.

As I ran my head began to feel light and I felt like collapsing, "no, no, no this can't be happening again, not right now" I begin to slow down. "Hey you stop right there" I turned to find the older man chasing me I was about to turn right but something inside me said to turn left so I stopped in the middle of turning right and quickly turning left.

All of a sudden that young boy from before jumped out of the bushes and started chases me. "What the... how did he know I was going to turn that way and more importantly how did I know not to turn right?, well anyway at least I didn't get caught.

I saw a forest and I decided to run in, hoping I could lose them in the woods. I stopped running, turning around to see if I was being followed. "Good I lost them" I turned back around and continued to walk forward, "who did you lose now" I was shocked and tripped bumping into a tree behind me.

"No stay away from me boy" the boy then stepped toward me, "boy, you really don't remember me?" the boy leaned closer staring at me his right green emerald eyes gazing into mine. "Wait you look familiar" but that's when I remembered my brother's note "trusts no one".

"No stay away from me, I don't trust anyone anymore" I looked behind me to look for an escape. "Don't worry your brother Laurence asked me, my family to look after you for when he passed away. He knew his father would try to kill him and if he succeeded he asked me his best friend to look after you."

I looked into his eyes, he was telling the truth, but what if he's just a really good liar. But something about him just seems so... comfortable and pure. "So you'll just follow me back home and we will take care of you" he extended his hand, I was hesitant at first but gave him my hand. He gently led me back to his house.

"So have you figured out who I am yet" the boy gave me a smug face, I giggled and replied. "How could I forget the person who was a friend to me when I was alone...? Vylad" I then walked away and sat outside on the door steps. But as I was on my way out I muttered thank you under my breath... Thank you....
