At that moment everyone cheered "yay it really is Cadenza she's back" well most of the boys cheered and a few girls, only the ones who liked me obviously. "Well Cadenza it's really nice to see you again but please remember to keep your voice down" I gave sir my biggest apology smile. "But it really was boring without you all everyone ever talked about were makeup, boyfriend girlfriend but you were the one who kept thing interesting so welcome back".

I looked over to Chloe and gave her my biggest grin I could ever make, Chloe responded by pouting and turning away from me, but Vylad just ruined my victory by comforting her so I started ignoring him for the rest of the day.

Well, it's not his fault but still, he's been giving me mean faces so he can deal with the girls and I'm surprised he's good with them but it doesn't matter anyway. It's was lunch and I was heading towards the library. Vylad came up to me "so wanna go to lunch together" he winks at me.

Oh great he's confusing me with one of those lovesick girls, are you serious. "What's the wink for" I don't even bother looking up at him "well... I don't know" that's when I looked up at him "don't you dare confuse me with one of your girl lovesick fans because I don't have time for that stupid stuff in my life anymore" I turned around and walked away.

"That's rich coming from someone who is always hugging a guy all the time" I turn to face him "if you're talking about Travis he's just like a brother to me" I go to walk away but... "Doesn't look like it from where I'm standing" Vylad's tone changes I look at him and his facial expression was... No, it doesn't matter I continue to walk off Travis then walks up to me "hey wanna go to the...."

I was pissed and didn't feel like talking to anyone. Travis looked at Vylad "why is she angry" Travis's tone was close to yelling at Vylad. Vylad just turned and walked towards the girls. As I turned a corner I looked to see what he would do.

Vylad headed over to Chloe, and then he started flirting with her again. I knew I shouldn't have trusted him. I ran the other way heading towards my own spot in school. A spot where no one knows except me.

TRAVIS'S P.O.V

She's not in class, is she... "Sir" I put my hand up "yes Travis". "Um, where is Cadenza," I asked trying not to sound desperate. "hmm well she was here before but... I don't know".

What is she doing?

VYLADS P.O.V

Cadenza's not here maybe she's angry at me... No, she isn't like that... is she?

CADENZA'S P.O.V

I left school grounds after the bell just being there reminds me of... Laurence, I miss you so much you have no idea. That's it I've had it, I headed back towards my old home... As I stood out front I realized this used to be the place were a little girl used to live with her beloved older brother and loving father.

But it's also the place where that little girl died and a new girl was born... Me.

I don't need anyone Love is a weakness, love keeps you from flying let them all go, I breathed in then out. "Well, Well, Well look at what we have here looks like you made my job a lot easier". A muscular man stood before me holding a combat knife.

"I heard you killed the man before me huh, well he must have been weak to lose to a scrawny girl like you" he chuckled. "Did you just insult me" I lifted an eyebrow, something inside me just changed. BLOOD I WANT TO SEE HIS BLOOD BEING SPILLED ON THE WHITE FOOTPATH I WANT TO SEE HIS BODY GROW COLD AND LIMP I WANT TO SEE HIM DEAD!!!.

The man charged at me thinking he was fast but he was slow as a turtle. He tried to throw the knife at me but I caught it then changed its direction throwing it harder and faster than the man as it hit him in the arm just barely scratching his arm. He's slow but strong, his aiming is pretty good but he's dumb.

He goes into hand to hand combat I took a few of his punches but I ended up lying next to his knife, secretly grabbing onto the knife I let the man grab me and pull me up off the ground. "You're just a little useless girl who is truly scared on the inside, am I right or am I right, hahaha".

"Who's scared" I spat my blood into his face distracting him for a second, I kick him in the stomach then stepped on his shoulder then jumping into mid-air doing a backflip I landed on the ground then sprinted at full speed.

I crouched to the ground sliding my leg in a circle on the ground tripping the man up, I jumped on him holding the knife to his throat, just as I was about to kill him Vylad yelled my name.
