I'm scared. I just heard tapping coming from outside my window. It won't stop. It's been going on for twenty minutes now. What do I do? Do I call the police? Do I tell my parents? No, my mom and dad aren't home. I guess I just have to tough it out. "Who's there?" I questioned. I glanced over to see who or what was there. I seen long, branch-like arms. Banging on my bedroom window. I cried out for help.

Then, everything went blurry. My head was banging, pounding. I couldn't take much more. I curled up into a little ball on my floor screaming and crying out in pain. Then, it all was gone. The pounding in my head was gone. My blurry vision was gone. The tapping stopped. And that thing, that arm was no longer there.

What just happened? 'Am I dreaming?' I pinched myself. "OW!" I shouted. Nope. That was real. Time to pull out the big guns. I run down to the musty smelling basement and grab a BB-gun, a baseball bat, and some chocolate. For good luck of course.

I began to walk up the dark stairs, when I suddenly started to feel nauseous and dizzy. Somehow, I knew something or someone was creeping up behind me. I turned to my right, feeling like I was going to fall over. "AH!!" I screamed. My feet slipped out from under my wobbly legs. I knew I was going to fall so I just shut my eyes tight and waited to feel the impact of the cold, tiled floor.

I waited. Nothing? I open my eyes and find myself staring at a blank face. Litterally. No eyes, no mouth, no nose. Just a pale white face. So why did I still feel like it was staring through my eyes and into my soul? Why did I feel like this creature was picking apart my whole life, in just those few seconds?

My nausea was no longer there, and my fear slipped away. I suddenly felt extremely tired. My eyelids were heavy and so was my head. I tried to fight it, but as I drifted off into the unknown depths of my dreams, I felt safe in the creatures arms. And I knew everything would be alright.
