Forgotten

Forgotten,

You wanna know what it feels like to be forgotten?

Trust me, in all honesty you dont,

Because when you're forgotten, all the memories are forgotten,

The smiles, the laughs, the stories, the time spent together,

All just forgotten,

You'll slowly fade out of someone's life,

They wont care, because they never did care like they made you believe they did,

Forgotten,

It happens everyday,

Any hour,

Someone somewhere is forgotten,

It can hurt you, but it doesn't affect the person who has forgotten you,

One day, a few years down the road,

You'll meet that person who has forgotten you,

They'll try to deny it and say it was family or something like that,

But really?

Its a lie,

They forgot you,

They left you alone when you needed someone the most,

So when they try to deny it, and ask you how you've been,

Look at them and say, 'I'm sorry, but you forgot me along time ago, its my turn to forget you'

Then just walk away,

You know what its like to feel alone,

And forgotten,

Now?

Now its their turn to feel alone and forgotten
