MY EYES MOVE UP TO ELLIOT WHO was seating across from me, then back to the view I was getting from the window as we flew forty-one thousand feet in the air en route to Aspen, Colorado for his family's Christmas Charity Gala.

My parents were against me going at first but after Elliot came to visit me once and my mum made him have dinner with us and he explained to my parents that it was a charity event for various causes and even invited them, they agreed to let me go for it and even accepted the invitation because my father thought it would be a good chance to socialize with influential people and get important contacts.

Because of my mothers meeting with the construction team renovating her restaurant they would be arriving Christmas Eve.

"Are you ok?" Elliot asks, looking up from his phone. "Do you need anything?"

"No," I say, shaking my head. "I'm fine, thanks for asking,"

I had no other choice but to be with Elliot and there was certainly no point in being sad or gloomy, so I decided not to be, I might as well enjoy the situation because the only reasonable option I have is to be in this situation.

Elliot might be an awful person, blackmailing me and all, but at the end of the day, he did practically save my life, right now I could be in jail if not for him. Although it is psychopathic, he does love me. All this is because he actually wants to be with me. As sad as it was, he is the only boy I believe actually cares about me.

All my relationships ended up badly, I was always taken for granted or played. I was nothing but a common dare to Levi.

After thinking about it all night, as wrong as it seems under the circumstances of our current relationship, I decided to actually give him a chance. He has been dotting on me for three years now and has been true about his feelings, maybe I could actually be happy this time, even though he was blackmailing me.

He nods and gives me a soft smile. "I am happy you agreed to come with me, I was scared you might say no and I certainly was not going to force you,"

"Yeah," I say. "I thought it would be nice, a little trip,"

"It is," He says, leaning back in his seat. "But then again everything is nice as long you are there,"

"Thanks," I say, looking down at my palm. "Elliot, I wanted to talk to you about something,"

"What is it?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Elliot, I think out of all the guys I have met you are the only one that actually cares about me, that actually loves me. Maybe, the only guy that will ever love me, actually" I say. "And I feel like I didn't appreciate you enough for that. Even though you literally blackmailed me into dating you, I think I want to you give this relationship a chance. A real chance,"

He smiles sincerely. "Do you really mean that?"

I nod. "I do. I want to actually be with you and see where this goes, even though I don't think I have a choice but to be with you," I shrug. "And other than the fact that you blackmailed me, you're not the worst person on earth,"
