Andrea's POV

"I never thought that I could feel this power, I never thought that I could this free," I sang as I typed a few words on the laptop. We finally hacked into Kay's security system and we were now waiting to get the precise location where Laurel was. Today was the day I had been waiting for all week. Rescue day.

"I'm strong enough to climb the highest tower, oh. And I'm fast enough to run across the sea, ohhh," Brent sang with me.

"And there's just no turning back, when your heart's under attack. Gonna give everything I have," we sang together, standing up.

"Cause this is my destiny," I said and we both stopped singing.

"You have a beautiful voice," Brent said and I blushed, but I turned my head.

"Andrea are you still mad?" he asked me. I answered by ignoring him.

"I said I was sorry like a hundred times yesterday, come on. Its been two days since it happened."

"You have no shame," I said. "You have a beautiful girlfriend that is head over heels for you and she needs your attention. But, you keep looking for trouble by chasing after me."

"I adore Felicity. From the first day I laid my eyes on her, I knew she was special. I don't know what is wrong with me but I feel different these days. I feel like maybe I don't deserve a girl like Felicity. I rushed into this relationship but now I realise that I'm only physically attracted to her; not emotionally," he said.

"Andrea, in the weeks that I got to know you better, I realised that I feel something for you. Felicity is amazing and all but I'm not the right guy for her. But I feel like I'm the right guy for you."

"I have a boyfriend dammit!" I exclaimed.

"Admit it Andrea. You like me but you don't want to allow yourself to realise it. When I'm around you, you have weird feelings and mood swings. I make you nervous but at the same time it doesn't bother you."

"Even if I do admit it, its still a no. I don't want my life to turn into some kinda weird highschool movie. Girl runs into guy at school, they become friends, like each other, the girlfriend of the guy finds out and gets hurt, but in the end she understands and they all live happily ever after," I said.

"But Andrea-"

"Brent just stop it!" I exclaimed. "Your sister was kidnapped and that's probably why you're acting like this. You're sad and vulnerable and I don't want you to do something that you might regret later. I don't want to hurt your feelings, but if we can't be just friends, we can't be anything."

He have me a sad look and I felt bad. I didn't want to hurt him but I had to this. He had already kissed me once, I didn't want him to go any further and regret it later on.

"Friends?" I asked, giving him my hand to shake. But instead he walked past me and went to a laptop that was beeping. I don't know why but that act made me feel really bad.

"I found out where Laurel is. Hey you guys, get in here!" he shouted.

"Brent," I said touching his shoulder, but he brushed my hand off.

"You said it Andrea. I can't be your friend because I know that what I feel for you is real. So, I'm now officially a stranger to you," he sighed. "Anyway come and see what we got Carson." Just the fact that he called me by my last name showed me that it was really over.
