Midnight Beauties

Chapter 1

"Girls, have you heard the news?" Mia said through her phone, calling two of her friends. "Yeah. Can you believe it?" Lucille said. "Meet me at the old treehouse ASAP." Mia said before hanging up.

Before heading out, she took her amulet and looked in the mirror to check if her eyes were still purple. She was furious a few minutes ago, and when vampires are furious, their eyes change color.

She let out a sigh of relief as she saw her eyes are back to its normal color. She changed into her denim pants, a dark colored tshirt, a cardigan, and a pair of boots before heading out of the house. As she was about to close the door, her Mom's voice shouted, "Mia Fanshire, where do you think you are going? Aren't you supposed to pack?"

Mia cringed when her mother called her by her full name. "Yeah. I need to do something. Be back soon!" Mia said to her mother before closing the door.

She quickly opened the garage door and brought out her bike. As she realized how windy it actually was today, she tied her long brown hair into a ponytail before hopping onto her bike and rushed to her friends secret hangout place.

She drove her bike all the way to a place near the woods, and soon she spotted the treehouse. The old treehouse was a place where her and her friends found when they were exploring. Since then, they have made that place their secret hangout place because not much people visit the woods and the treehouse wasn't very easy to see. Luckily the treehouse didn't belong to anyone...anymore.

As she drove closer, she spotted the treehouse easily since she has gone there a bunch of times. She parked her bike against the tree, and she realized that another bike was there. It was black and red, which means Lucile is already there.

As Mia was about to climb up the ladder, a voice shouted, "Mia! Hey!" She looked around and spotted a girl with a floral dress and blonde hair running towards her and waving one hand in the air.

"Ssshh!! Someone could hear you, Ainsley." Mia said as Ainsley finally arrived. "Oh right. Sorry." Ainsley whispered.

"Come on let's go up. Lucile is waiting for us." As Mia was about to turn back to the ladder, she noticed bruises all over Ainsley's legs. "What happened to your legs?" Mia asked.

"Oh I kind of fell a bunch of times while running." Ainsley said. Mia shook her head at her friend. "Why did you even run? Don't you have a bike?"

"The bike was on top of some boxes. It was hard to reach." Ainsley said. "You could've at least used your powers."

"Oh..right." Ainsley said. "Come on I'll heal you later. Lucile is waiting for us." Mia said. Ainsley just nodded and followed her up the ladder.
"Hey lucile" Ainsley said waving to a girl with short to medium black hair
"Hey" Lucile said
"Woah.." Mia said quietly she's suprised by seeing Lucile using braces
"*giggles* Lucile... what's wrong with you teeth?" Ainsley ask
"Don't you dare laugh at me!" Lucile said
"I didn't it just... i'm suprised seeing you.."
"I need to use them ok.. i don't want it either.. you think i like them?" Lucile said cutting Ainsley what she's going to say

while Ainsley and Lucile still arguing about Lucile braces Mia only looking at them both she thinks that they're both are so unique and she's glad to have them as friends

"Are we meeting only for you two arguing?" Mia ask
"No.."
"Then let me heal you first then after that we're going to talk about the news" Mia said
"Ok..its not gonna hurt right?" Ainsley ask while coming closer to Mia
Mia sigh
"This is not your first time getting healed by me.."
"Oh yeah.. but i forgot how it feels" Ainsley said
"Just heal her already" Lucile said
"Hehe" Ainsley smile
Mia put her hand on Ainsley legs and as she put her hand there Ainsley  bruises are getting better
"There we go." Mia said standing up onto her feet again flashing her sweet smile at Ainsley. "Much better."
"Thanks Mia."
