Lauren made her way inside the school to her usual hang out spot with her friends. It was the first day of Junior year and she was excited to meet up with them again. Lauren was the first of her friends to get there, and after a few minutes she saw her best friends approaching her.
" Hey Laur, I missed you " her friend Normani said.
" I missed you too Mani " Lauren said embracing her in a hug.
" I didn't miss you " ,her other friend Dinah said before adding ," Kidding you know I love you Lolo "
Lauren rolled her eyes and pulled Dinah in for a hug also. Lauren's eyes followed a girl walking by them, she had a black skirt and a pink crop top on with a little black bow on top of her head.
" Damn, whose that ? " Lauren asked.
" Who? You mean Camila ? The girl that just passed by ? " Normani questioned.
" Yeah her, who is she? I haven't seen her before. " Lauren stated.
" That's Camila, Ally's best friend. She transferred here last year a couple months before school ended. " Normani answered.
" She's hot as fuck, damn " Lauren said looking back in the direction Camila was going.
" Lo, how do you know you're gay if you've never dated a guy? You've never even dated anyone so how do you know you are gay? "
" I don't know Dinah, i'm just attracted to girls. I don't think i've ever had a crush on a guy but i've definitely had crushes on girls, I just don't find guys attractive " Lauren answered.
The bell rang and the three girls said their goodbyes and went their separate ways to their classes. Lauren walked into her first period class, US History, and found a seat close to the front of the class. Several minutes passed by and a voice disrupted her thoughts.
" Excuse me, is this seat taken?"
Lauren looked up from her book, it was Camila.
" No, it's not, you're welcome to sit there "
" Thank you, I'm Camila by the way "
I know, Lauren thought to herself.
" Hi Camila, I'm Lauren " Lauren smiled at her and Camila smiled back.
The bell rang and the teacher came into class to start explaining how the class was going to be. Class was finally over an hour later, which to Lauren seemed like an eternity. The rest of the day was pretty much the same and when the lunch bell finally rang Lauren made her way to her usual lunch table with her friends.
" I have first and fourth with that hot chick, Camila " Lauren told her friends as she took a bite from her pizza.
" I have third with her, she's pretty cool we talked all class , apparently she moved here to Miami from Orlando because her mom missed being close to family " Dinah mentioned.
" Isn't that Camila over there? Standing by the vending machines with Ally. " Normani says pointing to the right in the direction of the vending machines, " I'm gonna tell them to come sit with us, they shouldn't just stand there "
Normani gets up and starts making her way over to where Camila and Ally are.
" What the hell is she doing ? " Lauren questions.
Dinah shrugs and pops a french fry into her mouth. Seconds later Normani arrives with Camila and Ally at her side.
" Guys, this is Camila and Ally, they're gonna have lunch with us "
