A/N; Helloooo small author's note before this chapter starts, lately I have been having some writers block because 5h canceled my 7/27 tour :( i was extremely upset with them & with all this drama going on in the fandom with Normani and all this ot4 vs camilizers i just wasn't in the very best place to write because i didn't feel like a harmonizer, I was so dissapointed in this fandom. Buuuuut, i am here for the girls forever and always & i'm making my very best effort to write b/c i love them even if they cancel my concert ❤️

Camila awoke that Friday morning more nervous than she had ever been, she had even over slept. She was afraid on what she was going to tell Lauren, how she was going to tell her, and if Lauren felt the same way. On the drive to school Camila decided she was going to invite Lauren to Frozen Yogurt and tell her then. 

Camila was running late for school so she couldn't see the girls in the morning. She went to the office to get a tardy pass and then straight to her first period. 

"Miss Cabello, you're late do you have a tardy pass?" Her teacher asked.

"Yes, it's right here." Camila said handing her teacher a pink sheet of paper. 

Her teacher instructed her to take her seat and so Camila did.

"What happened? You're never late to school." Lauren asked, concerned.

"I just overslept, I had a lot on my mind." Camila responded quietly.

Lauren just nodded and paid her attention back to what the teacher was saying.

Camila couldn't even settle down in her seat, when Dinah started bombarding her with questions.

"So are you gonna tell her today? You have to, you promised!" Dinah stated excitedly, crossing her arms and pointing her pointer finger at Camila.

"I am, i'm gonna invite her to froyo and then i'll tell her, i'll tell you how it goes afterwards I just need to relax and work up the courage for later." Camila said getting her binder out from her backpack and placing it on her desk. The bell rang soon after that and class commenced

As lunch approached Camila grew more and more nervous. The lunch bell finally rang and Camila went to the restroom to pee; Camila was washing her hands when she saw Lauren come out the stall behind her. 

"Oh hey, I was just about to go to lunch but I needed to pee." Lauren laughed.

"Haha same here." Camila said nervously.

Camila decided this was going to be the best time to ask her, since they were alone and their friends weren't there. Camila waited for Lauren to finish washing her hands and pulled her aside to tell her.

"Hey, so um, I was wondering if you maybe wanted to get some froyo today after school?" Camila asked nervously, afraid Lauren would reject her offer. 

"Yeah for sure! Have you told the other girls yet?" Lauren perkily asked.

"I um, I mean just us two, if it's okay with you of course!" Camila said, a little louder than she wanted to.

"Oh, Oh " Lauren repeated surprised at Camila's offer, "Yeah um do you want me to meet you there or? Cause I drove to school and yeah." Lauren finished, running her fingers through her long dark brown hair. 

"Um, yeah that's fine i'll meet you there after school." Camila smiled shyly. 

The two girls walked together to meet their friends at their usual lunch spot. Camila could see Dinah smirking at her when she saw her and Lauren walking together. Lauren went to go get pizza but Camila wasn't that hungry so she just took her normal seat at their table.
