Larry's eyes had a crazed look. I didn't know if he was drunk or if he was usually like this. I gulped. No. I refused to end my life like this. I was not going to be raped.

No way. I refused. And I was stubborn. I smirked. If I couldn't stop him from groping me physically, I would provoke him emotionally.

"You know Larry," I said with a confident voice. "You are the saddest human being I've ever met. I actually kind of feel sorry for you."

Larry ignored me and kept going. He was trying to figure out how to take my top off. He was looking for a zipper. He was dumb. I slipped into this top. There was no zipper.

"You know what, Larry? You are the saddest excuse of a human being I've ever seen. I bet your balls are the size of marbles and that is why the only way you ever get laid is by forcing yourself on people, like what you're doing right now."

He stopped and met my eyes angrily. It was working. I smirked.

"I actually feel bad for you," I continued smugly. "Maybe I'll let you do it just this once so that you at least get some experience. I mean, seriously. Larry, have you seen yourself in the mirror? I guess not. Although I understand. I bet every mirror cracked whenever you looked into them. I completely sympathize with you, Larry."

He snarled.

"Face it, Larry," I smirked, glad that I was providing a distraction for this monster. "You will never get a chance to sleep with a girl. I can offer you my body, but just this once. And it's only because I feel sorry for you. Admit it. With a face like that, the only woman who would ever love you is your mother."

His eyes glinted dangerously. This time, I thought I should really fear for my life. So long as he was distracted from any perverted gesture, though, I really didn't care.

"I bet even your sister wouldn't be able to look at you. You are a despicable human being and the only way you will ever get what you want is by bullying people."

He raised his hand and punched me. I saw stars and my head spun, but I continued.

"You just proved my point."

Another punch. I felt a nasty bruise form on my jaw. His grip on my wrist tightened and I yelped in pain. I guess this is it. I was a goner. All I hoped for was for Maggie and Emma to have their own joint weddings and for Joey to become a successful movie producer.

I hoped the Big Five would be successful in whatever they did and that all of my good friends wouldn't miss me when I was gone.

I hoped Larry and Caleb would be put behind bars and that my mom would find a new husband that could make her happy forever. I even hoped my dad would be happy living with that slut he went after.

I hoped Trey would meet the girl of his dreams and have lots of children and name one of his daughters after me.

I guess I got too dramatic and cheesy there, but I seriously thought I was going to die.

I closed my eyes as Larry wrapped his large hand around my neck. This was the end. His grip began to tighten. I struggled to breathe and my vision blackened....then, he let go. I heard Larry grunt and the weight was lifted off of my legs. My wrists fell to the ground as he let go of them. I opened my eyes and sat up. A sharp pain shot through my head.

I saw a policeman standing next to me. He must have saved me. Thank God! But who called the police? Who cares? I pointed at Larry.

"Please arrest him, officer," I croaked. The policeman crouched down to my level. He smiled.

"Sorry, but I think I'll leave him for the real authorities. I'm here to arrest you, Nicole Peterson."

"Eric?" I recognized him, then felt my mind slip. Soon, I was surrounded by darkness.
