Are You Scared Yet? Part 3

The apology

As the door slowly opened I began to have second thoughts.

*Door opens*

"Long time no see Asia." Romany said stepping out of the darkness unto the porch.

*Thunder and lightening*

"What do you want?" Ceta and I said in union.

"I came to apologize about what happened in 9th grade between us. I'm really sorry I let Smiles get between us."

"I've heard enough." Ceta said begining to close the door.

"Wait let me finish." Romany said holding on to the door in desperation.

"Ceta cool it. You can come in." I said taking her coat and hanging it on the coat rack. "I understand how things looked. I just wish we would've done this sooner though so we could've straighten things out. Instead of us both going out of our way trying to avoid running into each other during passing period for my english class."

"I know right! Whenever I saw you in the hallway I would turn right back around, and be like 5 minutes late for history class."

"Haha foreal?"

"What's going on here?" Ceta said re-entering the living room with a soda in her hand looking confused.

"Asia and I are friends again." Romany said putting her arm around my shoulder. "Isn't that right Asia?"

Ceta shooted me a look of disappointment as if she was saying, "Are you out of your damn mind?" Then she walked over to the couch and turned on the t.v. "Asia I will never fully understand you. You're too gullible."

I ignored her side comment and continue to talk to Romany.

"So what are you plans for tonight?"

"Nothing much I just came over to tell you how I feel. Why?"

I glanced at Ceta to see if she was listening. "Oh nothing I just thought it would be cool if you stayed the night."

Ceta turned the volume down a bit lower. She was obviously listening.

"Oh Asia I don't want to intrude."

Ceta blurted out. "You already intruded by coming in."

"Romany just ignore her and then she'll go away." I said reffering to Ceta. "So what do you say?"

"Yes, but I just need to go grab my clothes from my house."

"How far do you live?"

"I'm not sure exactly, but I'll say it takes around 15 minutes from here to there. I have to pass Smiles mansion on the way."

"The poor thing he's sick." I said trying to sound sympathetic.

"Oh we should stop by since it's on the way to make sure he's okay."

My plan worked.
