"Wait do over like super magic armor or an iron Man suit or magic potions?" I asked.
"No" Rachel said while looking through her bag. "You get these." She took out tranquilizer darts and a spit ball launcher.
"What do I do with this?"
"You shot it at the dragon hope it doesn't bounce off and run away."
I sighed. It was like hoping a nail clipper could bite through steel.
Rachel added "If that fails, you have to go in,and die, before you wake the dragon up."
Pleasant thoughts. Why couldn't I follow my kindergarten instinct and say NOT IT. As if she sensed I thought it couldn't get worse, she added "You also can't go in with electronics, a dragons roar disables them. Oh, and no light, dragons can sense that too. And no one has ever come out of the place alive."
I was stuck. She made it seem that dragons are indestructible.
Dave added, I hoped he would come to say something to help but said "Rachel don't forget to mention they can feel vibrations, so Arnold has to step carefully. And that they can see with their eyes closed."
I asked "Is this a death trap or has this ever been done."
"Yes, my grandfather did it and then made the Mythical Parks to trap them."
So it was possible to succeed. I didn't think so.
"But then again he had a legendary sword that if touched froze anything it touched, and can only be summoned when a worthy when one worthy is is great pain. He also had armor crafted from the first dragon wars, it was immune to fire ice and the elements, gave the wearer extra strength."
Why didn't I get that sword while doing mathematics.
"Great where do I find that stuff, do I pinch myself and order the armor on E-Bay?"
Rachel rolled her eyes. "The armor was hidden in the depths of the earth, and can be found in Dragons Hoards, in random places, volcanoes, and of course where the owner hid it."
Great, the only way to win is by stomping around the world looking for it. I didn't have enough money for that. And all those places seemed pretty dangerous. But that was my only chance of survival. Dave said "Arnold this is your responsibility."
"Are you two insane? A game of not it decides that I will die and the fate of the world is my responsibility, like a sacrificial lamb, to keep people I ydon't care about safe. I have a better chance of surviving if I join Mars One, and be safe in outer space while you guys get butchered!" I yelled.
"Arnold calm down this has happened a lot." Dave tried to reassure me. I didn't want to so I stormed at the door turning back only to see them confused, like who's going to die now?
