Ashfyre pondered my question,"Let's see, I guess you train, gather the blades, make a prison, free Kamirth from his cell and that's it."
"Wait, you're kidding me, Glen did you know that Kamirth was in a cell?"
"Eh?"
Glen must have been having an old person moment, as he stared off into space. That just let me, Ashfyre, and the larger one.
"Well how do I find the blades?"
"Glen, do you know where you put the blades." Ashfyre yelled at Glen.
Glen was asleep.
Great, we had an old man, a dragon, a bigger dragon, and me.
And I was clueless. And so was Ashfyre. And the bigger one hadn't said a word. And Glen was on and off with his attention.
So I tried to wake Glen up, and he muttered. It was like me on the first day of school. He somehow fell asleep on the floor, a trait I find horrible. How I am supposed to sleep without a bed. I remember that the first time I went camping, my dad had to drive all the way back to get me a pillow. He seemed to enjoy the great outdoors. That was fun. I slept well with my pillow and teddy bear.
As I was thinking about the harsh realities of no traveling motels in FyreFall, another thing caught my attention, the way the son was shining. It was beautiful. Since Glen's cabin was in a remote place, there was no haziness in the air. I asked Ashfyre "How are the nights in FyreFall?"after all my grandpa always talked about how 'In the ye ol' days the nights where like firefly fields!' I felt sorry to break it my grandpa, but there wasn't stars anymore. We don't even have fireflies. Or anything for that matter. I wanted to see the good old days.
"Well there is a lot of stars, and the ghost of great dragons guard the gates to Above, right?" He asked the larger one, it didn't reply.
"Um, I don't know you're name but can you describe to the human what FyreFall is like?" He asked the larger one.
"It's like you're death!" The larger one shouted, as it ripped the turf running right at Ashfyre. Ash fyre seemed stunned that our non talkative companion was barreling at him in all his red magnificence. The reply was pretty lame, I mean if you want to start a fight it should be a speech of why you betrayed, right, u mean that was like a second grade yo momma joke. Still I felt like a useless spectator, and I was. As red and black repeatedly clashed, a ball of Fire and talons, as the dragons battled it out. I saw Ashfyre get in a quick slash, and then the larger one as he went on the counter attack, driving my friend to the ground. Ashfyre took flight. He swooped down low and it was my chance. I could get to hitchhiking to get a better view of the battle. Not a good idea. It was hard going on the talons as the two clashed in the sky. There was a burst of flame that Ashfyre couldn't dodge, so I got into it too. It was painful, but Ashfyre took it in stride. I clinger in as the two giants clashed again, I fit in a punch, and was pretty happy with that. The dragons went to the ground, as Ashfres wing was hit. The impact woke up Glen, but I think he went back to sleep. I started muttering random things in Latin, that seemed to do nothing. Then I did what any sensible person would do, I got off and got my sword. But Glen beat me to it. I saw him dual wielding the ice and poison sword, slice at the larger ones feet. The large one began to crystallize and soon was a incredibly large ice structure. Ashfyre gave him a good tail whipping, and the ice shattered.
I saw Glen smiling like a toddler.
"I did it!"
"Yes you did Glen, yes you did." Ashfyre whispered.
