I took a look at the sword. My armor and guilt heavy. I heard whispering, sobbing I trudged to find it. It was coming from Dave's body.
"Arnold" he croaked. "Save the rest, not me." He started to cough blood. "Look into the attic. The drawer there has a confession."
I was only thinking about the dumb drawer, as he coughed more blood and light vanished from his eyes. One drop landed o my chest plate. It was joined by tears, a river running down my cheeks. My chest plate transformed but I couldn't care less.
The only thing I could think about is how I let my dad and sister be killed I front of my worthless eyes.
I went up the stairs, to the attic. Memories assaulted me as the familiar scent came.
"Daddy lets play Hide and go seek"
"Sure Arnold, I'm it.
"Yay!" I started giggling as his eyes passed over me. I felt like this was the perfect space to hide.
"Boo"
"Eeeeeekkk" I started giggling.
Then I ran up the attic.
He smiled and twirled me. He lifted me and took me down the stairs.
I started to tear up. This was all taken away by a bastard dragon.I arrived. I pushed the cobwebs and spiders out of my way. I was amazed by the amount of dust the place had gathered up. I went over to the drawer and opened it up. Inside was a note, with my dad's neat handwriting that said "To Arnold"
It said " If you are reading this I died or you discovered it, Yes you are a part dragon.
What. I gasped how.
