I was dressed into a black crop top and jean shorts to go to the Fair with the guys. It was a hot summer day, with not a cloud in the sky. We decided to wait until the evening since being there during the day was a little more hectic with a lot more people. Which meant a longer wait on the rides.
When I heard a car honk outside, I finished off my makeup and slipped on my white Converse. "Bye, mom," I waved once to her as I passed her in the couch.
"Have fun," she told me as I opened and closed the door.
I stepped down the porch steps and walked to the car with everyone in it. I opened the back door to see that there was nowhere to sit. As I looked around, I noticed Kuniva was missing. "Where's Kuniva?" I asked.
"He's going out with his girl," Proof answered from the drivers seat.
"Well where am I supposed to sit?" I raised my eyebrows.
"You can sit on my lap," Marshall suggested from the passengers seat.
I closed the back door and opened the passenger door. I took a deep breath and sat myself on Marshall's lap. He secured my waist and reached over to close the door. "You look good, A," Denaun complimented from the back.
"Thanks," I smiled at him. As Proof strolled the car forward, I looked down to Marshall who was staring up admiringly at me. "Hey," I greeted with a chuckle.
"Hey," he nodded once with a sly smile.
I smirked and looked out the windshield. Proof wasn't the best driver, so when he turned, it was sharp, causing Marshall to have to hold me up.
I felt Marshall's eyes burn holes all over my body with his impactive stare. All the way there he was holding my hips and waist and pulling me into his chest. I didn't know if he was flirting without actually speaking, or just making sure I didn't fall.
When we got there, the lights on the rides were already on and flashing. Even from inside the car you could hear people screaming. There was a few barns of farm animals, a lot of kiddy rides, a Ferris wheel, and many carnival games. I recognized a couple of rides that I always used to go on. There was The Cliffhanger, and in that, you lay down on your stomach with three other people and it lifts you up so you can see over everything.
There was the Ring of Fire, where it's more of a roller coaster. It's a big circle that goes upside down many times. Most don't like it, and that most is me.
