I'm so sorry it's been so long since I've updated this! I promise the next one will be quicker

Danny’s POV

The guys and I were hanging out backstage at the last show of the tour. We had just finished an interview and there was some down time before we had to start preparing for the show.

“Mail call, guys,” Fletch, our manager, called when he stepped into the room. He had checked us in to the hotel since we hadn’t had time before the interview to do it ourselves. Tom and Harry looked at me coz they knew I’ve been anxiously waiting for Kyle’s letter. Fletch handed a letter to Dougie.

“It’s from Kyle!” Dougie said. “That means yours are probably from her, too.” Dougie opened his as Fletch handed Harry, Tom, and I our letters. He left to take care of some stuff as we opened the letters.

Danny-

I hope you didn’t worry too much about the guys seeing my picture. I kinda figured it would happen and I really don’t care all that much. When I was in high school, my boyfriend at the time took a pic of me topless with his cell phone without me knowing. He was an asshole and sent it to some of his friends, and eventually the entire school saw my tits. Not that I was shy about my body before that, but I definitely stopped caring who saw me. I was pissed at him for showing other people, cause that’s just a dick move. I thought about turning him in to the cops for having child porn on his phone and for distributing it (I was only 16 at the time), but that would have gotten him labeled as a child molester and would have ruined him for life. So I just threatened him with it. Anyways…

Never underestimate the power of “your face!” In arguments, I have a habit of saying “You’re a towel!” if someone insults me (or tries). I dunno if you watch South Park or not, but that’s where I got it. I figured you weren’t usually as nice as you were that weekend. Hell I feel like I’m nicer when I’m around you, too. It’s weird.

I’m excited for your birthday! I probably won’t join you for the family lunch, but I haven’t made up my mind, yet. However, I’m definitely looking forward to dinner with the guys. Turns out that you scheduled my tattoo appointment for the perfect day: my birthday. What better birthday present to myself than a tattoo?! I really liked your tattoos, so I’m guessing I’ll like what the artist comes up with. What’s his name, by the way?

I’m really looking forward to spring break! I probably won’t have time to write you again before I see you cause I have midterms just before I leave, and I should probably actually open my books (I’m a bit of a procrastinator…). Hopefully you’ll write me though, cause I could use all the distractions I can get—some of these classes are wicked dull. Can’t wait to see you!

Kyle

“Dude, Kyle is awesome!” Dougie said with a giggle. He held up his letter to us. I couldn’t see what it was, so I walked over and took it from him. “She drew me pin up girls!” I laughed. One was wearing a sailor suit and the other was in a vintage bikini. I knew she drew, but didn’t know she was this good—they looked amazing!

“Why did she draw you pinup girls?” Tom asked, taking the sheet out of my hands.

“Well I drew her pictures instead of actually writing,” Dougie said. We all just stopped and looked at him. “Mine were reptiles, in case you were wondering. But they weren’t half as good.” Tom flipped the page over and laughed.
