Chapter 13:

I don't understand what came over me. I felt the anger start to take over.

"YOU WILL PAY FOR KILLING JORDAN!!!" I scream. I run over to a skeleton and kick it a couple of times making it fall down. I grab its bow and arrows.

"Do you really think you can defeat me?!"

"I bet you I can" I say shooting another skeleton.

"Skeletons finish her!" I shoot a couple of skeletons down, kicking a couple in the process. About half of the mob are down by the time I remember thatI have a sword.

"Thanks guys." I say to myself softly as I take the sword in my grip and start going frantic. I skim the sword right into a skeletons rib cage and kick it off as I hit another's head off. My sword swings into another skeleton's head and cracks it open as I kick another's rib cage. I slam my sword down in the middle of another skeleton making it fall on its back and dig my sword into the ground.

I wipe my forehead with my hand and dodge and attack behind me while kicking the offender down with my foot.

"WHOOO! GO CLAIRE!" Daisy screams. I stand up straight with tears streaming from my eyes. I walk back over to Jordan's body.

"Why hasn't it disappeared?" I say crying.

"Something is stopping the body from dying..." Rebeca says. "Do you have anything to say Claire?" I think for a while. Am I suppose to say something? If so, what? I'm so confused right now.

"I-I love him..." I say. The words just slipped out of my mouth! I start to cry harder. My tears falling onto his chest. "I-I'm sorry Jordan! I tried to keep you out of this! I tried to protect you! I failed..." I take his glasses off his dead shut eyes and clipped them onto his shirt.

"Claire... He's not dead." The twins say cutting the silence.

"What do you mean?"

"He's asleep. Because the game can't take him away due to love, only you can wake him." Jamie says.

"And since you're in love with him too," Jess added.

"A kiss on the lips should cure this sleeping beauty's fate!" They finally said. I shake my head.

"That's impossible. There's no logical explanation for that to work."

"But there is no logic Claire." Simon chimes in. "It's minecraft."

"A place were dirt is can defy gravity." Lewis adds on.

"A world were its all blocks." Rebeca smiles.

"A dream land where anything you dream is possible." Daisy steps forward. "Just try it." I look up at the group. Their smiling faces cheering me on, but there is one that is not joining in.

"Mitch?" I say looking at the shadowed face in the cave.

"Go on. Kiss him. Not that I care." His tone was cold.

"Mitch... What's wrong with you?"

"Oh nothing. Just the fact that I've been trying to hint to you that I like you and you go for the dark hair, mysterious tall dude. It's stupid." He liked me?

"You liked me?! I-I never knew." He face grew angry.

"THAT'S THE POINT! I've been trying to tell you and you would always take it another way." I look down sadly.

"I-I'm sorry."

"-But there's no point in saying sorry now. While you were fighting those stupid mobs, I was making a deal with Herobrine."

"YOU WHAT?!" Simon yelled.

"Yes, and now, he will be able to take my body for his bidding. In return giving me anything I desire."

"You wouldn't dare." I say coldly.

"Oh, but I already have." He steps out of the cave. His face becoming clear, but it's not his own. His voice, his walk. They're all the same. It's just his face. His eyes, they're pure white. His hair, now a wavy black. His clothes were tattered and torn.

"M-Mitch..." I stand up defensively. "You know what he's going to do to us!" He smirked.

"Capture you? Yes." I look at him in disbelief.

"Mitch! You've gone insane!!" Daisy says blocking me from Mitch's view. "You don't know what they're going to do to her!"

"They'll make you kill her," The twins say. "and hurt her!" He shakes his head.

"No, Herobrine would never." He looked in distress.

"He would Mitch! He'll not only destroy her, but he'll destroy you!"

"I WILL NOT BELIEVE IN THIS INSOLENCE!!" He screamed. "I AM A CHANGED PERSON AND I WILL DO WHAT I WANT!" Fell down in fright. Power had gotten the better of him. I started to tear up at his face. It had turned back to normal... But he looked so angry.

"C-Claire I-I...."

"No, you said it clearly. You'll do anything that you want. I get it." I got up annoyed. "You're such a jerk!" I say, Daisy helping me pick Jordan's body up. We walk back into the forest, the rest of us following us and giving Mitch death glares. "I'm sorry Mitch..." I say to myself before falling into the fact that he has betrayed me.
