"Eh ma gawd, was he super cute too?" asks Lily.
"Yeah sort of..." I responded. I kept drifting off, my head wondering towards that boy I saw the other day. It wasn't Jared. It was this boy I bumped into the other day, at the grocery store. I was out buying food for my family, because my mom was passed out under the kitchen sink again. My mind was still getting over Jared that day when I ran into him. I got back up after I fell and apologized. I then slipped on a bag of cherries and fell into his lap, once more. By then I was rambling and sobbing. Clenching and unclenching the hem of my skirt.

But what I was surprised by was his offer of comfort. He didn't blow me off like Jared did, he held me in his arms, listening to every word. He helped me up, and introduced himself.
"My name is Johnny." he replied warmly. I gave him my phone number, and ran away.
"I don't know if I want to chase after him though Lily, I'll look desperate." I say sipping on my frosted drink.
"You have the body to get him, V." she replies smirking.
"LILY! Look, it's been a long day. I'm going to go home and take a bubble bath. I feel a migraine coming on." I say, rubbing my tired eyes.
"Okay, I understand. Text me later, V." Lily responds. I nod and catch the latest subway home. When I get home I creep up to the bathroom, and start running the water. I can smell the weed my brother is smoking from the other room. Carefully I stand up and put all the towels away, I know already I am going to be in the tub for awhile. I put my smelly soap in the bath tub and immerse. I think I filled up the tub more with my tears than water. God, I spoke too much.
