It's been two weeks since I went to the carnival. I still didn't believe that someone could be so selfish, I was practically brushed off his shoulder. I'm beginning to realize he isn't so great. For example, I saw him at the mall yesterday, hanging out with another girl. I decided to avoid eye contact but he saw me and began to make a scene.
"Oh look, if it isn't CRYBABY again." Jared smirks at me and re-adjusts his hand around the girls waist. The girl giggles at his comment and I can feel my face growing warmer. I never understood why people get to me so easily, but I try to ignore it.
"Falling for the wrong guys again Violet? No one loves you." The girl snarled. I never knew what came over me, but I stepped up to Jared. Inches between our faces and I smacked him, as hard as I could. I could tell he was surprised and we just stood there for moments, shocked. The girl he was with stepped forward to strike me, but I turned on my heel and ran away.Later that night, I called my friend to rant about that day. How awful he was and I would never really want to see him again, except for the fact that I still love him, but I can't keep living like this. He is just a waste of time.
